Chapter 16: Clash of Titans

Lying in the sand, Airil contemplated the daunting reality. Five years of rigorous training and achieving Super Saiyan 3, still had not been enough to conquer Hale's final form.

Meanwhile, as Hale rose from the battlefield, Ruko descended in front of him, assuming his Legendary Super Saiyan state.

"It's you!" Hale growled. "You're supposed to be dead."

"And I'm gonna make you pay for what you've done," Ruko retorted, mocking Hale's miscalculation.

"Enough! I will finish this once and for all after I transform into my true final form!" Hale declared, surprising Ruko as he released an unprecedented surge of Ki, shaking the very foundations of the planet.

Hale's power multiplied hundreds of times as he began his transformation. His head and body become smooth, as his horns disappear completely. The once towering tyrant has now turned into his final form.

Upon the stillness of the aftermath, Ruko had something to ask. "So, you were hiding your true final form after all," Ruko scoffed.

"Of course I was. You think I would let a few low-class Saiyans witness my true power? What reason did I have for showing my full power until now?" Hale explained.

"When you fought me over planet Sadala, you transformed and called it your final form," Ruko recalled.

"Indeed. That was more than enough to handle that special little transformation you have."

Ruko, unimpressed, charged at Hale in his Legendary Super Saiyan form. However, Hale effortlessly dodged Ruko's attacks, dismissing them with minimal movement.

"Is that what you call legendary?" Hale taunted, before blasting Ruko with a powerful energy burst. Ruko got sent flying, but he got up undamaged.

"I'm just warming up, hope you don't mind," Ruko jokes, brushing off the attack.

"Your ignorant pride gets in the way of your reason," Hale remarked. "Because if you did, you would have left a long time ago."

Ruko responded by charging a powerful green attack, shouting "Eraser Cannon" as he fired it, which Hale was barely able to dodge. Once he does, Ruko quickly rushes to him and kicks him into the sand.

Hale retaliates by launching red beams at Ruko, which explode as they hit him. Ruko is left floating with several black marks on him, marking where he got hit. Ruko then decides to charge up a massive green ball of Ki, before launching it towards Hale

However, Hale managed to stop the Ki ball, struggling as he tried shrinking it into his hands. Slowly, the ball of Ki got smaller and smaller, all that energy getting condensed. When Hale looked up, Ruko was nowhere to be seen. Letting the ball of Ki disintegrate, he began to search for Ruko.

Ruko was in a fissure that had formed in the ground, lowering his power level to try and hide from Hale. Hale, however, appeared out of nowhere, grabbing Ruko by the hair and flying out of the fissure. Hale then kicked Ruko into the sand below.

Hale then floats down to Ruko and grabs Ruko by the throat, holding Ruko to his face. "So what was this form called again?" Hale mocked.

As Hale tightened his grip around Ruko's neck, an unexpected laughter emerged from Ruko.

"What's so funny, monkey?" Hale sneered.

Ruko, pointing into the distance, revealed a sight that caught Hale off guard. A Giant Golden Great Ape on the other side of the fissure, glaring directly at them.
