y/n! pov: you felt a pair of eyes on you, but you figured that was just collei. you finished sketching her, adding little details of shadows and highlights, and you show it to her shyly.
she gives out the biggest brightest smile to you and looks really surprised. "wow!!! y/n, you're really good at drawing portraits!! you should do it more!!"
you blush and her compliment and thanked her. you were more secure in landscapes and scenery. you always gained a sense of freedom when you could draw real life beauties, transporting that onto paper.
with watercolor, acrylic, pastels, anything. too bad it leaves your shirts all battered up with paint stains.
but it's fun.
tighnari took a look at it and nodded in approval. "as a med student, the anatomy of collei's face is really well done. it's stylized a bit, but everything is in pretty good proportion. i am quite impressed." he smiled.
you felt warmth in your chest and a boost of confidence. maybe you should draw faces and people more.
you couldn't help but overhear the other group's conversation when they received their food. you three also received your orders as well.

collei is right, what other reason should i have to be so stand-off-ish towards alhaitham? i mean, surely he isn't that bad....
he did say my art wasn't bad, despite the rude backhanded part after... maybe he has an eye for art?
