as we ran, basically prolonging our inevitable fate of dehya and the group finding us, and having to explain what the fuck has happened over the past couple of days.
would you want to do the same? fuck no. especially because keeping peace is my number one priority. what reason do these idiots, specifically kaveh, need to know about my life?
trying to keep our footsteps quiet, which did not succeed whatsoever.
"kaveh! over here! i hear noises!!" dehya shouted, now revealing candace and the rest following suit behind her.
y/n's big bright eyes widened and began to panic as we ran.
"shit! oh fuck!! what do we do, haitham???" she yelped as the group rapidly approached us.
i sigh and grab her hand tightly. "i guess we'll have to make things difficult for them."
we ran into the park, using the trees as an advantage. i rustled multiple bushes and shook many trees to distract them. they won't have any sense of direction of us now.
y/n caught on and did the same, our dark disguises well hidden in the tree's shadows.
"shit! where the fuck did it go?" candace sighed.
"oH aLhAiIIithAaaM~~~~, oH y/nNNnNnn~~~, wheRe diD mY loVeLy pEopLe goOOooOo~~~" kaveh annoyingly sing-songed out loud amongst the trees.
"dumb fuck is gonna make the trees go deaf with his voice alone..." i mumble. y/n giggles quietly.
"hey, kaveh, i have an idea..." i hear dehya call out to kaveh, but the rest is inaudible.
silence follows for a couple of seconds, and then a loud voice is heard.
"HEY~~~! GUESS WHAT I'M GONNA DO!!! I'M GONNA CALL Y/N RIGHT NOW AND ASK HER ON A LOVELY-"
before i could even think, my body moved way faster than my thoughts ever could. i appeared out of the trees and shrub, grabbed kaveh by the collar, and was about to throw him into the next afterlife, but y/n came out to stop me.
thanks, love. now i won't be in jail.
"oh, well that was easier than i thought." dehya crossed her arms and had a stern expression.
i could hear y/n sigh, and i held back every part of me to just console her.
kaveh looked surprised, but stifled a laugh.
"awwh, now our wittle alhaitham comes out instead of cowering, hmm? just as soon as i mention y/n's beautiful name~"
my heart sank. this was not kaveh. was any of these people actually our friends?
