"That feels so great." You said with a breath of relief as Jeongin gently massaged your back.

You gripped Hyunjin's hands and tried to focus on their soothing touches as the intense pain continued to come and go.

This is the day the three of you have been waiting so impatiently for; the day your baby would finally enter the world.

You've been counting down the days and your sweet and loving husbands have been so excited that they can't even try to contain it.

However, the excitement has dwindled slightly just because of the agony you're in as you work hard and concentrate on trying to bring them into the world.

Of course, they're still practically jumping up and down with excitement and joy but it's hard for you to do the same when the pain is so consistent and so excruciating.

"Good," Jeongin spoke in response. "Anything we can do to help you, we're happy to do."

"Anything, baby. We mean that." Hyunjin whispered as he brushed his thumbs across your knuckles.

"What time is it?"

Hyunjin looked at the clock for a split second and then back at you, both he and Jeongin worried about taking their eyes off of you for too long.

"Almost midnight," Hyunjin said.

"God, it's been thirteen hours already." You groaned. "I really hope it won't be too much longer."

Hyunjin and Jeongin looked at each other.

It was hard for them to see you in so much agony and to know that there wasn't much they could do to make it easier was tough for them.

"It won't be too much longer. You're getting closer and closer." Jeongin said softly.

"Last time the doctor was in here, he said it wouldn't be much longer. Don't get too down on yourself. You're doing a great job and we're both so proud of you." Hyunjin said as he and Jeongin tried so hard to help you through this.

You wanted to reply; you wanted to thank them both for being here to help you through this whole process.

Every time you feel discouraged or overwhelmed, they've been so quick to remind you that it'll be so worth it in the end and that they're prouder of you than words could ever say.

And in these moments, you need that more than ever.

But before you could speak, a grown fellow from your lips as the pain returned.

Jeongin glanced at the clock, noting that it was getting closer together, which meant that it wouldn't be much longer now.

"It's okay, baby. You're doing so good." Hyunjin comfortingly said.

"Breathe, baby," Jeongin spoke. "You're doing so great, we're so proud of you."

You could hardly breathe as you sink your teeth into your lip harder than ever before.

"Don't bite your lip," Hyunjin said, worried that you'd make it bleed from how hard your teeth were sinking into it. "Breathe."

You squeezed his hand tightly, to the point where he thought it might break.

But he wasn't complaining; anything that could help ease your pain, he was happy to do.

Jeongin brushed his hand across your back soothingly as you exhaled shakily.

"You're so brave and strong," Jeongin spoke.

"I don't feel very brave or strong." You said with a weak and tired chuckle. "This is awful."

"You might not feel like you are those things but you are, we assure you of that. You're doing such a good job." Hyunjin said with a proud smile.

"Is there anything we can do?" Jeongin asked.

"Yeah. Hold onto me, it's coming back again." You pleaded, only needing them.

"We've got you," Jeongin said as Hyunjin let one of your hands go so Jeongin could hold onto it again.

Your groans of agony were crushing to them and they tried to keep themselves together, for you.

"I can't do this anymore." You groaned, the pain still there and so much worse than before. "It's getting to be too much."

"You can do it, Y/N. Squeeze our hands tight, do it with all your might. We've got you." Jeongin said comfortingly

"We're not going anywhere," Hyunjin assured. "Squeeze them both with all your strength. You can do it."

You used all of your strength to squeeze their hands, finding their voices and their grips to be soothing.

Once the pain finally faded away, you opened your eyes and leaned against them as they held onto you.

"Good job, Y/N," Hyunjin spoke. "We're right here with you. Not too much more to go."

"It's going to be worth it soon, baby. We promise." Jeongin said, kissing your head softly. "And we'll still be right here with you, every step of the way."
