The story takes place in our world, but the town where the characters live is fictional!
To be more precise it plays in central europe in the beginning of the 17th century.
The exact date and location is not important or relevant to the story since it's not and it shouldn't be a historical novel!
I did research stuff, but I don't want it to take all my time. So most of it is not historically accurate!
It's a fantasy story and I only want you to get the "vibe" so you can imagine some things better. ^^

So, now let's visit the town were Asha, Kyrell, Cybele and the myterious boy live.
It's a big town/small city called Jericho, meaning "city of the moon".

Here you can see Cybele's home. It's located on the outskirts of Jericho, but she has a little shop in the middle of the city where she sells her bakeries.

Of course, it looks much friendlier by day, but because of the towns name and because Asha, the main protagonist, is more or less nocturnal, it's more important to know what it looks like at night. ^^
