I REALLY DID IT! I FINISHED THIS STORY!

Strangely enough, I counted all the words during writing and with the words I added during editing, I've written 26.931 words for this story!

I know that I accidently deleted 621 words, but 114 words are simply missing. I don't now, but I don't care anymore. I've written enough eitherway. xD

Conclusion, I can better with words than with numbers, at least I hope so. :'D

___

If you don't now, this story is not the only one I've written (and finished!) for this years ONC, my german entry reached 17 chapters and 21.574 (minus 2 words?).

You can find it on my german profil SaintessCelina, it's called The Royal Key.

___

Some fun facts:

Including today after reaching the second milestone, I completed this story in 18 days and wrote over 18.000 (nearly 19.000) words in that time! That means I've written around (and over) 1K words every day. :D

If you count my german story too, I've written around 32.000 words in 28 days! :0

That's crazy, right?

---

I decided on the boy's name AFTER fnishing this story, that's why it didn't come up often even after he had remembered (there was a blank space till I started editing xD)

Lunette was initially called Amicia, but I didn't want to use another name with "a" as first and last letter, so I changed it during writing to "..." and added a new name later. xD

I also wanted to include other familiars, but I forgot during writing, didn't want to change it then and simply left it out. While editing, I wanted to at least mention them, so I did that.

In the last chapter, I already said that, but I had a scene planned where he would finally get reunited with his sister, but the scene wasn't/isn't fully complete in my head so I left it out (maybe I'll get to write it someday).

___

Most of the story I wrote during word sprints (a website where you can write at the same time and see your shared word count). That really helped me to push the story further, but it didn't help me with the perspectives and chapter lengthes. That's why some are so short, I switched to a different perspective when the other wasn't even "finished" yet. ^^"

But I didn't want to do the same as in the first chapters where the time was all over the place. x'D

___

I also had something planned for the witch hunter/fisherman and on how and why the animals got sick, but I also wasn't able to add it (I just wanted to finish...).

So if you have any questions for me, if something wasn't clear, you can ask me here!

___

That was enough of me talking, I'll submit this story now and hope for the best. x'D

Now it's your turn to speak!

Pleas answer these questions:

How did you like this story in general?

What was your favorite scene?

What was the most emotional scene for you?

Where was the tension the highest?

Who is your favorite character?

Which character did you want to learn more about, but didn't?

Anything I could improve on for the future?

(I'm not asking for the most hated character, because I hope there isn't any, at least not named one.)

I hoped you had fun reading and maybe we'll see each other again in a different story!

___

Before I forget, I thank every reader, but I have to thank these people especially:

NbTheCat (she's my cat ;D)

WarriorCat457 (another cat and faithful reader)

_marmoris_ (you need to read How The Shadows Feast!)

Ry-reader-29 (check out her story The Cat, The Crow and The Witch, like you probably guessed it's inpired by the same prompt as my story and I'm sure you'll love hers too ;D

-fallen_Queen

DinaSander

despinasmondgewisper

WingedCat001 (who used the same prompt for her german entry and won the second round!)

Every comment put a smile on my face, thank you very much! <3

I also hope that you continue reading and reach this chapter on the long way. xD

___

Now I still have to mention SmokeAndOranges who also used the same prompt in Flickering Creatures. I can only recommend it too. ;D

___

So, I think now I'm really finished, storywise, physically and mentally. x'D
