UNDERSTANDING

As the day progressed, Heeseung found himself immersed in the role of substitute teacher, guided by the activity plan Yeeseo had left for him. He watched in awe as Sunoo effortlessly took charge of the classroom, his confidence and leadership shining through as he communicated with his classmates in sign language.

Approaching Sunoo during a break in the lesson, Heeseung hesitated before initiating their conversation in sign language, determined to bridge the gap between them.

Heeseung's heart swelled with gratitude at Sunoo's gesture, realizing with a pang of guilt that he had forgotten about the activity amidst the chaos of the day.
