As Yeeseo's return home drew near, Heeseung eagerly shared the news with Sunoo, his heart brimming with anticipation. Sunoo's eyes lit up with hope, his hands moving in a flurry of sign language as he expressed his desire to meet her.
"I want to meet her, please let me see her! She knows the truth!" Sunoo's plea resonated with urgency, his longing to confront the past etched in every gesture.
Heeseung relayed Sunoo's message to his parents, hoping they would understand the significance of Sunoo's request. But instead of empathy, their response was laced with scorn and disdain.
"You can't meet her! You'll trigger her! You caused so much trauma to her, and then you'll say you want to meet her?! Shameless!" His parents' words cut like knives, their accusations striking Sunoo to the core.
Before Sunoo could comprehend what was happening, his father seized him roughly by the arm, dragging him towards an unknown room with an iron grip. Panic surged through Sunoo's veins as he struggled against his father's hold, his heart pounding with fear at the prospect of being locked away, alone and isolated.
With a forceful shove, his father pushed him inside the room, the door slamming shut with a resounding thud. Sunoo's cries for help echoed off the walls, but there was no one to hear him, no one to offer solace in his hour of need.
Alone and frightened, Sunoo could only cling to the faint hope that someone, anyone, would come to his rescue, and that the truth he so desperately sought would finally be brought to light.
Heeseung, desperate to help his friend, rushed to Sunoo's side, pounding on the door with all his might as he pleaded with his father to let Sunoo out. But his pleas fell on deaf ears, his father's indifference a cruel reminder of the powerlessness that consumed them all.
