As Lucifer made his way through the castle in hell, he couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement brewing inside him. It had been a while since he last saw his twin brother, Michael, and he just couldn't wait any longer to meet him again. So without telling anyone, Lucifer had snuck out of heaven and made his way to Hell, determined to spend time with his brother.

But he had always been terrible with directions, and getting lost was a common occurrence for him. So as he absentmindedly walked around, trying to remember how to get to the garden, he began to realize all the pathways started to look the same.

In a state of panic, he quickly rounded a corner, suddenly bumping into someone, causing him to nearly fall over.

"Oh, I-I'm so sorry!" he stammered.

Quickly he tried to regain his composure, looking up to see a deer-like man standing tall and imposing, with a devilish smile on his face. His red eyes seemed to sparkle with amusement as he took in the sight of the angel before him. Lucifer couldn't help but feel a sense of unease.

"Well, well, what do we have here? An angel wandering where he shouldn't be?" The man asked, glee evident in his radio static voice.

Lucifer didn't reply, he just stood still in front of the demon, his wings quivering slightly as he slowly gazed up at the red figure. He should be running away. Lucifer told himself, but the terror has immobilized him, preventing him from moving.

Widening his smile, the man moved forward and extended his hand to grasp something. Lucifer was confused as to what the man was grabbing for—until he felt it. He turned his head to see a black glove with scarlet tips touching his wing.

The deer man hummed, catching Lucifer's attention and making him look back up at him. The deer had whispered under his breath.

"I've heard angel wings are quite a delicacy in certain circles."

All the color in Lucifer's face drained away. Why did he ever think coming down here unannounced to his brother was a good idea? This wasn't like Heaven, where you could bump into someone, say sorry, ask for directions, and be led the way you needed. No, this was Hell, where apparently if you bump into someone, they will want to eat your freaking wings!

Having thought that, Lucifer tried to break somewhat out of his fear-induced trance to speak, hoping he could reason his way out of his sure-to-be demise, but before he could even talk, a blinding light engulfed them both.

"Back off, Alastor," came a demonic voice from the light. "Before I make you regret it."

Lucifer rubbed his eyes, opened them slowly, and saw he was now behind someone. After the blurriness and black spots went away, he realized that someone was his brother.

"Michael!" Lucifer exclaimed, relieved to see him.

Alastor's eyes widen in surprise at seeing the king. Quickly though, he blinked it away and turned his head to glance back again at Lucifer.

While looking at him, Alastor's expression turned into amusement, although now that Lucifer thought about it, no matter what expression he had, he didn't ever stop smiling.

"Well, if it isn't his majesty," he chuckled. "I see you have quite the intruder here," he pointed his staff in Lucifer's direction. As he spoke, he looked at the king of hell; his eyes glimmered as if saying, I know your secret now.

Michael's expression turned cold as he spoke. "Charlie has finished talking to her mother, and she requested that I find you so you both can walk back to the hotel, so please take your leave."

Alastor looked like he was considering something for a moment, but then he simply smirked, turning away and walking down the hall, leaving Michael and Lucifer alone.

"Come on, brother," Michael said, grabbing Lucifer's arm, turning the opposite way from Alastor.

As they walked away, Michael started scolding Lucifer for his unannounced visit. But he hardly listened, unable to shake off the thrilling encounter with Alastor. He looked behind them, staring at where the man once stood. But with a shake of his head, he turned back around, not like he would see that demon again anyway.

Little did he know, this would be far from the last time he would encounter the deer.
