The story begins when Baa enters Anupamas' Dance Academy angrily and put forth an offer in front of Anuj to marry Anupama.
Baa forwards her hand, holding vermillion box in front of Anuj and Anupama.

Baa : Main chahti hu tum dono shaadi karlo.
Everyone present at DA were stunned listening to Baa's words.
Baa : Insaan ka naam nhi hota hai toh wo gumnaam ho jaata hai aur rishtey ka naam na ho toh badnaam ho jaata hai.
( Tears starts forming in Anu's eyes ) but Baa continues to speak.
Baa : Aap dono ko aapke rishtey ko naam dena hoga tohi samaj aapko samaan dega aur ye saari pareshani, badnaami hamesha ke liye dur ho jayegi.
Turning towards Anuj Baa continues: Tum toh isse sacha pyaar karte ho. Humare ghar me aake, sabke saamne wo Shahrukh Khan ki tarah tumne to dialogue maara tha ki " Mai pyaar karta hu, pyaar karta rahunga". Bina rishtey ka pyaar aaiyashi hota hai, badnaami hota hai. To ye sindoor le, maang me bhar, bana le tere ghar ki Grihlaxmi aur hamesha ke liye mera muh band kar de. Ye aag tum dono ne lagayi hai toh uske charon oar 7 phere leke wo bujhana bhi tumhe hi hoga. Arey jab mann me prem hai toh chupaana kyu ?? Aaj Diwali ka subh din hai. Dono dulha-dulhan ki tarah saje ho. Yahan ladke wale hai, ladki wale hai. Phir der kyu, kis baat ki ??
Turning towards Samar and Pakhi, Baa continues : Aur tum dono ko to ye kadhai wale, ye kurte pahen ke, uspe dupatta oodh ke naachne ka bahut shauk hai toh lagao tumka. Aaj toh teri maa ki shaadi hai.... !
Baa : ( looking at GK kaka ) Aur aap, aap toh ladke wale hai. Aise kyu khade hai ??? ( putting her hands on her waist with attitude ) Aise akad ke khade rahiye. ( turning towards Baapuji ) Aap toh ladki ke baap hai, aapko toh aaj sabse bada punya mil rha hai. Kanyadan ka, kar lijiye.
Now turning towards MaAn, Baa continues : Arey, aap log khade kyu ho ??? Chalo..... Apni dosti ko shaadi ka naam do...... (MaAn shocked).
Looking at Anuj, Baa says : Arey tune toh khud maana hai ki tu Anupama se prem karta hai aur iske mann me bhi tere liye kuch toh hai...... nhi toh koi dost ke liye apna ghar-parivaar naa chod de. (Forwarding the vermillion box in front of Anuj) Prem hai to swikaar kar, aur bhar de iski maang me sindoor. Ye sindoor hi logo ka muh band kar sakta hai. Anupama ke charitra pe lage daag ko mita sakta hai. Teri dosti ne Anupama se uska ghar-parivaar, maan-samaan, sab kuch chhin liya hai. Ab ek chutki sindoor use ye sab kuch wapas dila sakta hai. Humare yaahan dosti pe ilzaam lagane ke liye ungliyaan uthti hai aur shaadi par aashirvaad dene ke liye haath uthta hai. Ab tu kya chahta hai, Anupama ko kya mile - Ilzaam ya Aashirvaad ???
Anupama : ( irritatedly ) Baa bas kijiye.
Ignoring Anu's request , Baa continues : Duniya ki nazar me aurat aur mard ki dosti yaani aag aur push ka saath hai. Arey tu toh mard hai, tujhe koi farq nhi padega par ye , ( pointing her fingers towards Anupama ) Ye kahin ki nhi rahegi. Jaise Draupadi ka chirharan hua tha waise iska charitraharan hoga. Ye sab ruk sakta hai, badal sakta hai, mit sakta hai.... Tumhe bas Anupama ke maang me sindoor bharna padega Anuj Kapadia.
Anu : ( irritatedly ) Bas kijiye Baa.
Baa again ignores Anupama and looking towards Anuj continues : Phir naa tumhe sharminda hona padega naa hume. Tum Anupama ka saath dena chahte ho na, toh ek dost banke nhi Jeevansaathi banke do. Bharo... bharo iski maang me sindoor.... bharo... bharo.... bharo iski maang me sindoor......!
Baa's words triggered Anuj to such extend that he lost his senses. Unable to think properly, he tooks the vermillion and fills it in Anupama's partings.
Anu and GK kaka : Anuj...!!!
Anupama touches her partings nervously. Her hands were shivering. She touched her partings only to find that Anuj had applied vermillion in her partings. Everyone were stunned with Anuj's unexpected move.
Anuj : ( angrily ) Bas... Bas... Ab kisiko koi problem hai.... Bhar di maine Anu ki maang..... Aaj se ye meri patni hai..... Ab kisi ko koi problem hai.... Hai koi problem.... Boliye....Haa.... Boliye....!
Baa : Yehi toh mai chahti thi.... Ab tum bhi khush aur hum bhi khush.
Baapuji : Tum toh khush hogyi Leela par tumne kabhi meri beti ke khushi ke baare me nhi socha.
By hearing Baapujis' words, Anuj came back to his senses. Realising what he just did now, he looked worriedly at Anu and said, " Anuu...., I'm sorry. Mujhe pata nhi kya hua..... Main aisa nhi karna chahta tha.... Par ye kaise hua mujhe kuch samajh nhi aa rha....! ".
Anupama stood there speechless without any movement. Holding Anupama by her shoulder, Anuj says, " Anuu..... Anu... kuch toh bolo... Speak something Anupama..... !
Anu says in low voice : Kya bolu Anuj....?? ( tears rolled down her eyes ) . Ab kehne ke liye baccha hi kya hai. ( turning towards Samar ) Samar mujhe yaahan se le chal.... mujhe mere ghar chod de.
Samar understanding the seriousness of the situation agreed.
Anuj : Anu....., meri baat to suno.
Anupama ignores Anuj and steps forward towards the door with heavy heart when she hears Baapuji's voice and turns back.
Baapuji : Anupama beta, ruk to zara.... Achha tujhe ghar jana hai na, toh humare saath humare ghar chal beta.
Anu : ( joining her hands ) Mujhe maaf karna Baapuji, main aapki baat kaat rhi hu par iss waqt mujhe akele rehna hai....( and turns towards the exit door ) .
Anuj : Thik hai.... Tumhe akele rehna hai na, thik hai..... lekin ek baar.... sirf ek baar meri baat jarur sunna Anu.... It's a request.
She again ignores Anuj and left the DA. With that everyone else too left the Academy worriedly. Anuj told GK kaka to leave him alone for a while. GK kaka agreed but secretly followed Anuj.
