The car sped along the empty road, the silence inside thick with unspoken thoughts. Anupama sat in the passenger seat, her hands tightly clutching her saree's pallu. Her forehead was creased, and her eyes stared out of the window, but her mind was elsewhere.

"Anuj, Samar ne humein court kyun bulaya? Court... aur woh bhi aapko aur mujhe ek saath? Aisa kya ho sakta hai jo vo mujhe phone pe nahi bata sakta ?" her voice trembled, betraying the unease she tried to hide.

Anuj, who was gripping the steering wheel, stole a glance at her. His eyes softened at her worry. Even as he focused on the road, his attention was on her every sigh, every nervous movement.

"Anu, main samajh sakta hoon tumhare mann mein kitni uljhan hai," he began, his voice steady yet comforting. "Par Samar samajhdaar hai. Agar usne bulaya hai toh zaroor koi zaroori baat hogi, par darne ki baat nahi hai."

Anupama turned to look at him, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. "Par Anuj, Samar kabhi aisa nahi karta. Pata nahi... mujhe ajeeb sa lag raha hai." She rubbed her palms together, trying to calm her racing heart.

Anuj reached out and gently placed his hand over hers, giving it a reassuring squeeze. His touch was warm, grounding her in that moment. "Tum bas mujh par bharosa rakho, Anu. Jo bhi hoga, hum dono milkar sambhalenge," he said with a slight smile, though the faint lines on his forehead revealed his own concern.

Anupama's heart softened at his unwavering support. "Aap hamesha mere saath hai, na?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper, seeking reassurance.

Anuj briefly turned to meet her gaze, his eyes brimming with love. "Hamesha, Anu. Har kadam, har mod par," he replied, his tone carrying the weight of his promise.

She managed a faint smile, the corners of her lips lifting despite her anxiety. For a moment, she allowed herself to lean slightly toward him, finding solace in his presence.

The car came to a halt as they reached the court premises. Anupama's heart skipped a beat as she looked at the imposing building in front of them. She exhaled deeply, trying to steady herself.

Anuj parked the car and turned to her. "Chalo, Any. Ab tumhe tumhare har sawaal ka jawab milega," he said, opening the door for her.

Anupama nodded, straightened her saree, and stepped out. With Anuj walking beside her, his hand lightly brushing against her arm in silent support, she felt a flicker of courage despite the storm raging inside her.

As they approached the court's entrance, Anupama glanced at Anuj one last time, his reassuring presence giving her the strength she desperately needed. Together, they walked into the unknown, ready to face whatever awaited them.

The court building stood tall, an imposing structure against the soft morning light. Anupama’s heart was pounding as she hurried through the gates, her saree brushing the stone steps. Beside her, Anuj walked in silent concern, his eyes scanning the area, his protective instincts on high alert.

Anupama and Anuj rushed into the court's premises, their eyes scanning the area until they spotted Samar and Nandini standing in a corner. Nandini, draped in a simple yet elegant saree, was fidgeting with her pallu, her face a mixture of nervousness and determination. Samar, dressed in a crisp white shirt and black trousers, stood beside her, his jaw set, but his eyes betrayed his inner turmoil.
