Our Childhood (Law x Robin)

Part 12

Robin giggles when she say the guilty look on Bepo's and Chopper's faces. She looked over at Law who was rubbing the side of his temple in frustration.

Law:
"You followed us?"

Bepo looked down at the ground so he wouldn't have to see the look on his captain's face. Meanwhile Chopper hid behind Bepo and peeked over at Law and Robin.

Bepo:
"I'm sorry captain..."

Chopper:
"But Robin, you guys aren't dating are you?"

Robin:
"We started dating before we arrived at Wano, I'm sorry I didn't tell you I was going to everyone at the same time after the raid."

Robin walks over to Chopper and pats his head, she reaches to her pocket and pulls out a piece of candy and she gives it to his. Bepo looks at Robin with sparking eyes. Robin laughed at his cute behavior and pulled out another piece of candy to give to Bepo. She turned around to look at Law.

Robin:
"Do you want one too?"

Law:
"No."

He says adverted his eyes but look back at her when she starting walking towards him. Robin got another piece of candy and fed it to Law.

Law:
"It's not that sweet."

Robin nods.

Robin:
"I bought some that weren't too sweet, I thought you would prefer these to the sweeter once's I usually buy"

Law:
"Thanks."

Robin nods. She turns around and looks at Bepo and Chopper.

Robin:
"Do you want to join us?"

Law's eyes widen.

Law:
"Wait I didn't agree to this."

Bepo looks at his captain with those same eyes he gives him whenever he wants something really bad.

Bepo:
"Please, captain."

Chopper:
"Yeah! We want to come too."

Law sighs.

Law:
"Fine."

He takes Robin's hand and starts walking again with Chopper and Bepo following right behind them. Law lead Robin, and their two furry friends to the forest. The trees were lush which was surprising considering Wano's state. There was a water stream which was probably polluted. They sat on the rocks with Robin sitting on Law's lap and had a nice conversation with each other.

While Bepo and Chopper were distracted. Law used this change to snuggle up to Robin. He wrapped his arms around her and slowly kissed Robin's neck from behind.

Bepo:
"It's too bad there's no fish in here."

Chopper:
"Yeah, they all probably died from the pollution. If someone were to drink this water they would be incredibly sick."

Robin thought to herself and then smiled.

Robin:
"I wonder if the waters so polluted it can eat away at someone's body through the infection in the water."

Bepo and Chopper looked back at Robin creeped out, but they didn't say anything. Law has rested his head on Robin's shoulder, he was a little pissed off because wanted to spend this time alone with Robin.

Law:
"Robin-ya..."

Robin:
"Yes?"

Law:
"Why'd you invite them?"

Robin looked at Law. She figured he wanted them to be alone and have to extra time since the raid was tonight.

Robin:
"Because I figured it would be better to invite them since they were already following us."

Robin caressed his cheek and kissed him softly.

Robin:
"We can still spend time together."

Law sighed, Robin knew exactly how to make him feel better. But he still wanted to spend time alone with her. Eventually evening came and they were heading back to the cabin.

-later that evening-

Night approached fast, the straw hats and their allies in gear and ready to leave. The sound of faint subtle music  could be heard all the way from Capital, the Fire Festival has started. Law was in the polar tang because he wasn't  in the mood to really party, he was trying to keep his head clear for the long fight ahead of them. Robin join him after a while with a plate of food for him.

Robin:
"Law-kun, I brought you some food."

Law looks up from his journal. He leans back in his chair and his frown turns to a small smile. Robin places the food on his table and takes a glance at what he is writing.

Robin:
"Ara~ is this your diary."

Law:
"Please, like I would do that."

Robin giggles. She rests her chin on his head and wraps her arms around his neck. They stayed in silence for a while, Law continued to write in his journal and eat his onigiri  while Robin watched. She pulled away and went to his book she browsed through the options of he had.

-outside the Polar Tang-

Sanji was cooking up a feast for everyone and flirting with Nami. Ussop, Luffy, and Chopper were dancing to Brook's music. Zoro was drinking his booze and Franky was sitting with him drinking his cola. Some of the heart pirates had come out to party as well.

Sanji:
"Nami-swan~ this is for you"

He serves her fried rice.

Nami smiles mischievously.

Nami:
"Thank you, but I am a little thirsty."

Sanji nods understanding the assignment. When he went to start making the drink he made two for both Nami and Robin but when he went to serve it he realized she was gone.

Sanji:
"Where's Robin- chan?"

Nami giggles a bit.

Nami:
"She's somewhere don't worry about it."

Sanji raises his eyebrow in confusion. But he didn't mind it.

Luffy:
"Sanji! More meat!"

Luffy yelled, he used his devil fruit to sling shot himself over to Sanji.

Sanji:
"I'm busy!"

Luffy groans. His stomach growled again he desperately needed food. He glanced at the food Nami was eating and when they weren't looking he used his devil fruit to get the food and eat it. Nami turns back to her plate to eat but it was gone, she turned over to Luffy with fire in her eyes and then she smacks him in the head.

The party continued, laughter, music, and the sound of food sizzling filled the air.

BOOM

The sound of a loud explosion came from the cave where the straw hat ship was hidden. Franky immediately turned over to look.

Franky:
"Sunny!!"

He runs over towards the cave, tears streaming down his face.

BOOM

Luffy, Zoro and Sanji got into fighting positions when the enemy revealed themselves. Nami and Ussop get their weapons out but stay in the back, while Chopper and Brook where ready to fight as well.
