Chapter Three

"Guess it's just the two of us now, huh?" Luca said.

"Yea, I guess so. Are you in a hurry?"

"Nope, not really. We could still hang a bit if you'd like."

"Yea sure." Shu replied.

"So,.... You're popular, huh?" Luca asked as he turned his head to Shu.

"Uhm, no comment." Shu laughed awkwardly.

"Then, do you get a lot of confessions?"

"Uhh, not much." Shu shrugged.

"How much did you get this week exactly?" Luca asked curiously?

"Uh, around five?"

"Last week?" Luca asked again.

"Probably around seven?"

"Shu! You're that popular?" Luca exclaimed, making sure to emphasise on 'that'.

"Am I?" Shu narrowed his eyes at Luca.

"Yes! Like, real popular! Who the hell would get so many confessions each week?" Luca explained.

Shu just laughed it off, feeling speechless. He couldn't denied the fact that he'd get confessions every now and then, so he decided to just stop protesting.

"I was thinking, since you are basically the rizz king, could you like, give me some advices or practices? Vox said that I'm a cringe rizz, sadge." Luca pouts.

"'laughs' What could I possibly teach you, Luca?" Shu laughed.

"I mean, there's a reason why you're so popular, right? Teach me your ways, Shu!"

"Uh, but I did nothing!"

"Hmm, I mean I can't change my physical appearance similar to yours, but I'm sure I'm also as handsome, and good-looking like you. Maybe not the height tho." Luca said while looking at Shu up and down.

"Wha? Wha? How dare you?! I'm not short?" Shu said, offended.

"No no! It's a cute height! Perfect for me!" Luca explained.

Shu eyed Luca suspiciously. "Sure...."

"Okay, okay! The thing is, I have a crush. On a girl in our major. So, I've been trying to win her over but nothing's working apparently." Luca explained, suddenly became serious.

"...Uh huh, and?" Shu asked patiently, waiting for a reply.

"SINCE! You had received so many confessions, I highly think that you have experiences in frizzing people up. So, please?" Luca pleaded.

"'sighs' I can't with puppy eyes, Luca." Shu sighed. "Fine...."

"YES!! THANK YOU, SHU!" Luca exclaimed excitedly and hugged Shu.

"Ahah... You're welcome, Luca" Shu patted Luca's back.

"You're staying at the dorms, right?" Shu asked, letting go of Luca.

"Yep, I'm staying at dorm 326. You?"

"Dorm 693."

"Wow, we're basically staying three blocks away. So far." Luca pouted.

"I mean, we're in different majors, after all." Shu laughed at Luca's reaction.

"That's true." The two laughed together.

"Uhm, hey, Shu...?" A girl called out.

Shu and Luca turned their heads towards the direction of the voice.

"Yea? May I help you?" Shu asked.

"Uhm... I... I have something to tell you..."

"Sure, go ahead." Shu smiled.

"I.... I like you! Will you go out with me..?" The girl said as she gave Shu a love letter.

Luca gasped and look over at Shu.

"Oh, uhm. I'm sorry, but I'm not looking for anyone to date right now..." Shu apologised.

".. Oh... It's okay... I kinda figured..." The girl said disappointedly.

"It's not like you're not good! It's my problem, so, don't be too hard on yourself." Shu comforted the girl.

The girl smiled. "Thank you, Shu. I don't regret falling for you, knowing that you're such a sweet guy until this point.."

"Thank you, and I'm sorry..." Shu smiled apologetically.

"It's okay! Thank you for your time!" And with that, the girl ran off.

"Woah...."

"...? What?" Shu asked.

"I've never thought I'll experience that..." Luca said, amazed.

"Well, now you do." Shu laughed.

"Now I'm even more convinced that you gotta teach me your ways to have so much rizz." Luca said, determined.

"Sure, sure." Shu sighed.

"Shall we have it at your dorm? Do you have a roommate?"

"Nope, I live alone there. So, sure."

"Great!" Luca exclaimed. "We'll have it tomorrow?"

"Sure." Shu agreed.

The two departed their ways. 'What a hectic day.' Shu thought. He could've not imagine meeting someone that was so different from him. Let alone letting him into his dorm the next day they met. But, Shu had a feeling that he could trust Luca, so he decided to just go with the flow.
