It Was Never Supposed To Happen

Chapter 6

Rhea's POV:

Dom was supposed to meet us in the lobby an hour ago, but he has been ignoring the group chat. Therefore, we decided to check on him. We took the elevator up to his room and walked towards it. Damien started knocking loudly on the door, but there was no response. We exchanged glances and decided to open the door. We entered the room and spotted Dom snuggling with Roman's sister. Dom looked happy with everything going on, so I pulled out my phone to take a picture of the pair. I took a few more pictures intending to torture him later and set one as the group chat picture and the background in case he didn't notice, and then we took our leave...

Marnie's POV:

I woke up when the door shut and opened my eyes, slowly getting out of bed without waking Dom up. He had torn off my pyjamas the night before, so I put on one of his shirts and a pair of boxers that almost covered my knees. I made coffee for both of us and placed Dom's cup on the bedside table before going outside to the balcony with my coffee. I leaned on the railing and sipped my coffee, enjoying the peaceful morning.

I was still trying to process what had happened the previous night, and I couldn't help but smile while thinking about it. I didn't notice Dom was awake until he wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his head on my shoulder. "Good morning, little one," he said in his raspy voice close to my ear. I decided to call him "Papi," and he seemed to like it when he started kissing my neck. I bit my lip and turned to him, giving him a gentle kiss on his lips.

He returned my kiss, which made me smile. After a moment, I pulled away and said, "We both have to get to work, Papi." I set my coffee down and wrapped my arms around his neck. He looked at me, and I could tell he didn't want to let me go. "Can't we just stay here all day, little one?" he asked with a sigh. But I shook my head. "I finished the repairs and now I need to return them to damage control, and I need to get Natia from Becky and Seth before they regret suggesting a sleepover" I explained. I smiled and gave him a quick kiss before slipping out of his embrace.

My room felt weird because I had spent the night in his room. However, I shrugged it off and jumped in the shower. After my shower, I did my hair and put half of it up into a ponytail. I then did a simple gold eyeshadow look before slipping on a pair of workout shorts that just about covered my butt and Dom's shirt, which covered my shorts anyway. I put on my go-to leather jacket with my boots, grabbed the repairs and my other bits, and walked to Becky and Seth's room. I knocked on their door and smiled at Becky as she came into view. "I'm here to pick up my little monster" I giggled and Becky shook her head "She was an angel and I think Roux has a new best friend" Becky's words warmed my heart. I stepped into the room and saw the girls colouring. I crouched down stroking Natias hair. "what you drawing baby?" she grinned up at me and showed the picture. "Dom!" she giggled. I looked at the drawing and she had drawn dom holding a chicken tender which made me laugh. "you gonna give it to him?" I asked and got a nod in return. "come on baby let's go" I smiled as she skipped along holding the picture. I kissed Roux on the head then thanked Becky and seth. I headed to work with Natia.

Damage control collected their repairs. My day was uneventful, but people seem to be looking at me differently now that they know. Although I was half-expecting my brother to visit me, he didn't. I just shrugged it off since I didn't want to engage in any childish behaviour. If he wants to act like a child, I am going to let him do so. He cannot dictate my life or relationships. I understand his protectiveness due to past events, but it's still my life. If I want to date Dom, I'll date him. I still have Dom's torn top that he gave me during a fight, and sit down to repair it. As I work on it, I can't help but smile when I think about the match. Sometimes, I feel like he tries to show off more when I'm watching him. 

Dom came in the room with food for me and Natia which made me smile. "thank you" he walked over and gave me a quick kiss before natia ran over "Dom i drewd this for you" she grinned and held the picture out. dom took it and laughed "thank you Natia" i think my heart skipped at beat watching them.

[timeskip about a month]

It was Royal Rumble week. Dom and I still hadn't had a conversation about whether we were official or not we kind of just agreed without saying it and we were sharing a hotel room and it felt like we were a little family. However right now I was panicking, my period was two weeks late. Roman had taken Natia out for an uncle/niece day. I had waited for Dom to leave before calling Rhea in a panic. I was closer to her than anyone else.

R: "Hey Marnie what's up?"

M: "I need you to come to my hotel room now, Dom just left"

R: "Okay, I need a little more information than that hun"

M: "My period is late by two weeks and I'm panicking so please hurry!"

R: "Okay, okay I'll be there soon"

Almost immediately, I heard a knock at the door. Rhea was standing outside and I hurriedly let her in. I soon found myself pacing back and forth with panic. "I can't be pregnant, Demi. If I was, it's too early, and it would scare him away! and not just that, I just got Natia back I'm only just used to being a mother again and I just..." Demi grabbed me by my shoulders and said in a calming voice, "Girl, calm down. I brought two pregnancy tests just in case. Take a deep breath and go take one." I took one from her and went into the bathroom. After what felt like an hour, the result was ready. I picked up the test and saw the word "negative". Thank god! I sighed with relief and walked out to Demi. "It's negative, Dem," I said. She hugged me, knowing I was relieved. I wanted more children but at the moment i was happy with just Natia

After my hellish morning, I carpooled with Rhea to work. I had a busy day ahead of me as I had to get everyone fitted for the rumble. I had some helpers and managed to get through all the girls, and tomorrow we were planning to fit the boys. I ended up staying late to make necessary adjustments to a few pieces. I was so exhausted that I fell asleep at my desk. When I stirred awake, I felt big arms lifting me, I opened my eyes to see that it was Dom carrying me. He must have found me asleep. I was too tired to protest, so I just closed my eyes and leaned my head against his chest. "You stink" I muttered with tiredness in my voice. he chuckled in response. "I will shower once we are at the hotel and get you into bed" I just gave a little grunt in response.

When I woke up again I was in bed in the hotel and the shower was running i got up and made some coffee and that's when it hit me. I left the pregnancy test I took in the bathroom he is so going to ask about it. I made Dom a cup of coffee hoping that would distract him from the topic, I know it was late but coffee actually helped me sleep. The second he stepped out of the bathroom I held his coffee out to him "Here Papi" I smiled sweetly. 

He didn't say anything, instead, he just held the pregnancy test up. shit. I looked away waiting for his words. "you thought you were pregnant? why didn't you say anything?" He honestly looked hurt. I sighed shaking my head "Because I thought if I said something it would terrify you away because we haven't been dating that long. Don't get me wrong you are amazing with Natia and I know she adores you i just i guess im scared." I looked up at him slowly. He just embraced me in a hug. At this moment I felt safe...
