Chapter 14

After leaving the beach Ethan and Kevin sat in the car and drove out of the parking.

As the atmosphere got quiet. Kevin said 'How about some music?'

Ethan said 'Play the song you want.'

Kevin reached the stereo and selected the song of his choice.

Kevin said 'This song is sweet and gentle.'

Ethan said 'Its too slow.'

Kevin said 'Do you want me to change it?'

Ethan said 'No. You like this song right. Let it finish first.'

Kevin smiled at his consideration.

After the song ended.

They choosed the next song.

They passed the street filled with different stalls of food.

Kevin after seeing icecream stall started hitting Ethan on his shoulder 'Stop stop stop.'

Ethan was shocked and stopped the car  immediately and asked 'What happened? Are you feeling uncomfortable? Is it hurting somewhere?' and started checking Kevin from head to toe.

Kevin said 'Ohh stop it An. Its not that. I want to eat icecream.' his eyes glittering in the night sky.

Ethan eyes sharpened and got serious 'What was that V? I almost had a heart attack. Why did you started shouting for an icecream suddenly?'

Kevin said softly while pleading with his eyes 'An I want to eat icecream. Can't you fulfill my one wish An.'

Ethan said 'No. You ll get a cold and I ll feel sad.'

Kevin showed him his best puppy eyes and pleaded 'Really An. Just one. Pretty please.'

Ethan looking at his cute expression and couldn't harden his heart and gave in his request 'Don't move? Sit here I ll bring it myself.'

Ethan moved out of the car and went to the icecream stall and brought him his favourite flavour icecream.

Ethan after entering the car said 'Here you go. Eat slowly okay. There is no rush.'

Kevin nodded his head and take the icecream from his hand.

As he started licking the icecream. Seeing his happy expression Ethan too smiled slightly and asked 'Is it that tasty?

Kevin nodded 'Its damn delicious.'

Ethan said 'Give me a bite. I want to taste it.'

Kevin didn't think about it much and brought his half eaten icecream towards Ethan to have a bite but Ethan grabbed the back of his neck and licked the icecream clean from his upper lip and said 'It really is delicious.'

Kevin was surprised by his sudden action and his brain stopped working for a minute.

After he realised what happened he blushed as his cheeks got blood red and lowered eyes to the icecream in his hand and finished it in a mouthful of bites.

Ethan eyes were smiling as he thought he finally got what he was craving for so long. It was so sweet. Best sweet ever tasted.

As they reached the house. It was around 10 pm o'clock.

As they entered the house they saw James and Isla being around each other as James was following Isla from left to right.

Ethan asked as they entered 'What happened? Why are you following mom, dad?'

James sighed and said 'I was just pacifying your mom. She got angry at something which she won't tell me about.'  and shrugged his shoulder helplessly.

Ethan and Kevin looked at each other and Kevin smilingly said 'Why don't uncle take aunt out for dinner tonight? Its not that late for a romantic date.'

Isla eyes shinned brightly at his word.

She looked at James expectantly.

Getting the point from Kevin's statement James said 'Do you want to go on a dinner date tonight honey?'

Isla nodded and smiled brightly and went to dress up.

James said 'Thankyou Kevin for your help. Sometimes she acts like a child.' he smiled at his wife childishness.

Kevin 'Its okay uncle. Now uncle too should get ready.'

James nodded and went to his room too.

Kevin said 'Aunt is so sweet An. She is so lovely.'

Ethan lifted his left eyebrow slightly 'Really V. You are also very sweet.'

Kevin smiled shyly 'I am just glad she is your mother.'

Ethan said 'I think the dinner should be served on the table. You should eat V. Its getting late.'

Kevin nodded and they went to the dinner hall and sat on their seat and pulled the plate.

The maid served the food on their plate.

As they started eating Isla came and kissed Kevin's forehead lightly and thanked him.

Seeing that Ethan furrowed his brows 'Mom what are you doing?' and pulled Kevin towards himself.

Isla 'Don't get jealous you naughty boy. Here.' pulled Ethan's head towards herself and kissed his forehead too and said 'We are leaving now. Take care of Kevin and yourself okay.'

Ethan scrunched his face 'Mom please. We are not kids anymore.'

Isla said 'Yeah yeah. I know. Now shut up and eat your food quietly. And keep it in your mind what I said? Okay. Now byee.'

Kevin smiled and said 'Bye aunt. Enjoy your dinner.'

Isla nodded and made her way towards the main gate.

Ethan shook his head and said 'Sometimes mom is just too much.'

Kevin laughed and his voice was so pleasing that Ethan lost himself in his laughter and smiled a full smile at Kevin.

After settling they continued eating and after eating they went to Ethan room to pass the time.

Ethan said 'Shall we watch a movie?'

Kevin said 'Okay. I don't mind. What do you have new here?'

Ethan said 'Recently I saw a trailor of a horror movie which seems good to me. I want to watch that. Can we.'

Kevin thought he should be considerate too. He can't always be the one being pleased. He ll compromise this time.

After thinking Kevin said 'Its not a big deal. Do as you like.'

Ethan smirked and nodded his head 'Its not related to ghost. Just a zombie movie. You okay with that right.'

Kevin 'You just think of bullying me all the time.' and nodded bravely while thinking he is gone tonight.

Ethan 'No V. Said its your choice.'

Kevin 'Yeah yeah you say that all the time.'

Ethan just shake his head and started the movie.
