Third Person POV

Valentine's day. A day where people give their loved ones gifts of all kinds, such as flowers, sweets, jewelry, dates, anything and everything. Valentine's Day is a day of showing love and affection. But, for a certain someone, Valentine's Day is a day where he cries the most.

For him, before the incident, he used to love Valentine's Day. He was able to celebrate his love for his partner and show him all kinds of affection. They would go out and walk around the beautifully light city and visit shops. They would talk end on end about various topics and not care about the world. They would do everything together and celebrate being with one another. It was a day where he could forget everything and spend every second with his partner. They would get a few stares, but they would never really care.

However, after the incident and his partner was killed, he couldn't celebrate the day the same. He felt lost and alone. There was a void in his heart was starting to get unbearable and he felt so...

Kazuha sat by a tree, the leaves falling softly to the ground. He watched the leaves and petals fall around him and on him, he couldn't be bothered to remove them himself. He stared endlessly at the sun rising, symbolizing a new day is just beginning. A new heartbreak to ruin his spirit. Seeing the sun reminded him of Tomo. Tomo was just like the sun. He was so bright and full of energy, radiating every time he talked or fought. He was skilled in every way, and chose his words so thoughtfully. Tomo was Kazuha's sun, now without him, Kazuha was just a planet that was revolving around a black hole. Waiting to be sucked in by the darkness...

"KAZUHA!" Kazuha jolted out of his thoughts, trying to find the source of the yell. When he finally looked up he saw them. "What are you two doing!?" Kazuha asked, confused. Heizou was sitting up on a tree playing with the twigs. Scaramouche was flying around the top of the tree scouting the area for any monsters. Both were unbothered by the world around them. Heizou smiled down at him and threw a stick. Kazuha, using his unbelievably fast reflexes, dodged the stick with ease. "We wanted to spend the day with you!" Scaramouche coughed, "You mean you wanted to." "No we." "You." We!" "You!" The two went back and forth arguing. Kazuha just sighed. Knowing these two the bickering was going to last all day. "Okay guys let's not bicker right now. People are still sleeping and it's early morning." Scaramouche eyed the field around them. "Um, there's no one here?" "The animals would not like to be disrupted by your obnoxious bickering." Kazuha said plainly. Scaramouche scoffed and descended from his waist. Heizou jumped down from the tree and landed gracefully onto the ground. "Well moving on- We should spend the day together Kazuha!" Kazuha froze. He felt unsure on what to say. Today, he really didn't want to do anything.

"Heizou I-" "Nope you can't deny!" Heizou quickly said. Scaramouche nodded. "You plan on rotting in bed all day. So we came to spice up your day." Kazuha felt his heart warm just a little bit. "I appreciate that guys, but seriously I'm okay. There's no reason to spend the day with me." Heizou frowned. "Come on Kazuha! We want to do this for you. Besides, I finally got Scaramouche to agree with me on something." "He's right, you know. Me and that imbeciel never get along." A little warmer.

"I- Today is just-" Hard? Kazuha, we know what happened...Which is why we don't want to leave you alone today. Let us be with you." Heizou spoke softly, scared that if he raised his voice to normal level, Kazuha would shatter like glass. Scaramouche thought about what to say and tried to change his voice to a soft murmur. "D-Don't push us away. Just let us be with you, we're friends after all right?" A little bit warmer. The planet was slowly being taken away from the black hole and into a new solar system.

"I'll only agree as long as the two of you aren't bickering all day. You will cause me and everyone else in Inazuma a headache." Kazuha sighed softly but looked at the two boys with fondness. They quickly agree to his terms. It was going to be easier said than done.
