Forest Rain

Thunder, lighting, hard rain, rapid wind, and dangerous monsters lurked on the land of Inazuma. But, Inzuma had pretty waters, trees, culture, and scenery. Though it was dangerous and pretty at the same time, two males who have been stuck on the island recently, have gotten bored of it all.
Heizou, a detective on the island, was bored of solving case after case after case. They were all too easy for him and he wanted a challenge. Kazuha, who travels the land and fights monsters, was bored of fighting the same monsters and seeing the same scenery. Though he did leave the island, it was rare he would stay in another nation for longer than a day, he spent most of his time on the boat he rode with Beidou. Both boys wanted some sort of excitement, they wanted to try something new. Anything new. And then, an opportunity popped up.
The travelver arrived at Ritou Island to finish a commission. They ended up running into the two boys and stopping to have a talk. When the boys asked what the Travelver plans on doing next, they smiled. The Travelver explained to the two boys that they would be traveling to Sumeru to go visit friends and see the nation once more before they head to Fontaine. Kazuha and Heizou were thrilled and asked if they could join. The Traveler agreed, saying it would be fun to travel with friends other than Paimon. Kazuha and Heizou felt bliss and quickly went home to pack their bags.
They were leaving first thing in the morning.
As the clock hit 6:30 in the morning, The Traveler, Kazuha, and Heizou were ready to set sail. Beidou offered to take them to Port Ormos as a thank you gift for all the hard work they each have done for her. The Trip was going to take a week. Kazuha and Heizou weren't sure if they could wait an entire week before seeing new land.
During the trip the boys listened to the Traveler as they told stories about their past adventures. They talked about the people they met in other nations, described the scenery they saw, and how they defeated each and every monster and person who stood in their way. The boys were intrigued with their tales and listened very closely, asking questions to gain more details.
Somehow the two boys managed to survive the boat ride and once they saw the land of Sumeru on the Horizon, they were filled to the brim with excitement. Once they ported in Port Ormos, the goodbye to Beidou was short-lived. The boys were ready for a new adventure. The Traveler told them that they will be heading to Sumeru City and were welcome to come with or they could arrive on their own. The boys didn’t want to trouble the Travelver any longer and said they would be fine on their own, besides, it gave them time to explore the nation without burdening the Traveler. They two bid the Traveler farewell before going their route.
Sumeru was very different from Inazuma and the boys were excited to see all the new things that were offered. As they walked through the forests they saw many different kinds of plants and animals, as well as monsters. When they first encountered the mushroom creatures they were amused by them. They found it fun to fight the new monsters. Kazuha was partially interested in all the plant life that grew here. He was amazed by how beautiful the trees, flowers, even the bushes were. Everything about this place was beautiful. As they continued to walk, it started to rain. The rain was different somehow. It wasn’t thundering or shooting sparks of lighting, there was no rushed wind or heavy raindrops. The wind blew in a soft breeze, soft thunder was heard but no lighting, the rain fell gracefully as well. Forest Rain was amazing.
“What do you think? Pretty amazing here huh?” Heizou asked his friend as he slowly climbed down the slipper forest moss. Kazuha waited for him down the hill and smiled. “Yes amazing! It’s so fresh and new here unlike, home.” Kazuha’s voice was soft as he spoke about Sumeru, he felt at peace here in the forest. After a few minutes Heizou, safely, made it down the hill and met up with Heizou. The two continued their walk admiring the scenery as they walked passed. “Hey what if we danced in this rain?” Heizou suggested. Kazuha laughed, “Not on this moss! We can find somewhere less slippery.” Heizou joined in with Kazuha’s laughter. “Yeah you're right, won’t want to slip and fall off this hill.” They two had a new adventure, to find a place that was somewhat not as slippery to dance on. A little secret they two kept was that they both had a love and passion for dancing. Kazuha grabbed Heizou’s hand gently and led the way. Heizou didn’t mind and followed his friend through the forest. If anyone was good at navigating, it was Kazuha.
The day slowly turned into night and the two were still exploring and looking for a nice place to dance at. “It sure does rain a lot here!” Heizou laughed. Kazuha laughed along. “I only expected Inazuma to rain like this, but then again it is a rainforest.” Heizou agreed. The two continued to talk about Sumeru and other things they should try and see while here in the nation.
“Hey do you hear that…?” Kazuha asked, gently tapping Heizou and turning to the direction of the sound. Heizou closed his eyes and heard the tune. “Is that music? Perhaps someone is having a party? Shall we see my dear friend?” Kazuha nodded, “Yes I’m interested.” The two of them decided to follow the sound of the music. The music played softly and blended in with the sound of the falling rain.
When Kazuha checked his map quickly, before it got drenched by the rain, they were in the Apam Woods. As they followed the tune they saw some strange creatures and a…boy.
The creatures and the boy were in the water dancing with the rain. The two boys quickly hide behind one of Sumeru’s trees branches, admiring the creatures, the scenery, the boy. The boy’s clothes were decorated with whites and blues and looked to be a type of Inazuma clothes style. He had pale skin and dark purple like hair and his eyes the shade of the Inazuma purple sunsets. He was majestic. And the two boys couldn’t take their eyes off him. He moved gracefully, flowing like the water beneath him. His movements were smooth and everything he did was on purpose, this boy was amazing at dance. As he danced with the rain, somehow the creatures around him controlled the water so it could move with him. Kazuha and Heizou felt bad for starring but the sight was to die for. Everything was beautiful and magical, it was perfect.
When the boy finished dancing he looked up and noticed the two boys staring at him. He blushed a bright red, “W-W-Who, W-Wh-What are you-!?” He was at a loss for words. The creatures that surrounded him disappeared. Kazuha and Heizou blushed, embarrassed from getting caught and nervous because of the boy’s beauty. They stepped out from behind the tree branch and walked close to the boy.
“We heard a tune and came to see where it was coming from…You are really amazing at dancing.” Kazuha spoke softly. Heizou nodded, “You were great and by the way you moved was breathtaking. What’s your name stranger?” The boy hesitated.
“W-Wanderer…” The two boys smiled at him and extended their hands. “I’m Kazuha.” “I’m Heizou.” Wanderer shook both of their hands.
“We are traveling to Sumeru City but we got lost, think you could help us?”
Kazuha asked. Heizou knew that was a lie but decided to roll with it. Wanderer laughed, “You’re way too far out! Here I’ll show you the way.” He turned around and the two boys followed him. It was going to be a fun trip.
