(Superman flew across Metropolis to clear his head)

(He saved a car, stopped a mugging and a bank robbery)

(He went up to space to soak in the sun...a distant satellite monitored him)

(Lex Luthor was watching him)

Lex: "I wonder..just what..are you thinking about...Clark.."

(Clark stopped by the Daily Planet later and saw Lois on his way out)

Lois: "Hey, Smallville. All dressed up, huh? Big date tonight?"

(Clark looked down with shame)

Lois: "No kidding. Really? Well..she better treat you right."

Clark: "Huh? Isn't it usually the other way around?"

Lois: "Sometimes. But for you, Smallville..let's just say I'm more worried about you than whatever tigress scooped you up."

Clark: "You're..worried about me?"

Lois: "Of course. Who else would I pick on if someone stole you away? See you tomorrow. Try not to stay out too late."

(She playfully punched his shoulder before leaving, her smile gradually faded as she walked away)
