Lina shifts uncomfortably in her chair, both of her arms brushing against the boys sitting on either side of her. Both Sunghoon and Jay had sat on either side of her again, Jay sitting far closer than he had the day before. Lina was struggling to pay attention to what her professor was saying, the words jumbling together in her head. She hadn't slept well the night before, Jay annoying her even in her dreams.
"Ms. Bae, did you hear me?" Lina blinks a few times as the professor's voice interrupts her thoughts, the girl shifting in her seat again.
"Sorry, sir." She says, bowing her head slightly. The older man shakes his head before returning to his lecture, Lina letting out a long breath.
"Are you okay?" Sunghoon asks, quiet enough for only her to hear. She shrugs, sending him a smile that she hopes is reassuring.
"Just didn't get much sleep." Lina says, patting his arm with her hand. She stiffens when Jay shifts in his seat, pressing his arm against hers. Lina knows that she can't move away from him without basically sitting on Sunghoon's lap, the girl feeling trapped in her own seat.
When they're finally dismissed, Lina leans back in her chair. Jay puts an arm over the back of her seat, leaning closer to her.
"We should start working on our project, do you want to go get coffee?" He asks, tilting his head to the side. Lina tenses, scowling a little at the boy.
"Fine, you're buying." She says, throwing her bag over her shoulder. Lina steps past Sunoo and Sunghoon, almost getting knocked over by Soyun.
"Jay, come get lunch with me." She says, clinging onto Jay's arm. Lina rolls her eyes, not really wanting to stand around waiting for Jay. She walks out of the classroom, making her way through the crowd of people that had gathered in the halls. The girl startles when an arm slides over her shoulders, her head snapping up. Lina's gaze meets with Jay's, the boy's eyes sparkle mischievously.
"Leaving without me, bunny?" He asks, tilting his head to the side. Lina scoffs, smacking his arm off of her shoulders.
"Stop calling me that." She says with a sigh, adjusting her bag. Jay doesn't respond, shoving both of his hands into his pockets.
Lina and Jay walk into the cafe on the school grounds, ordering their drinks before going to find a table. Lina pulls her laptop out of her bag, Jay watching her.
