Grace looked at her house in dismay, "Please put me out of my misery." She begged her best friend

Currently, she was talking to Leah on the phone while sitting in her car in the driveway of her house. She was trying to avoid the awkward reunion with Bella.

"You've been home for 10 minutes already. The longer you put it off, the worse it's going to be." Leah reasoned

The redhead sighed. She hated it when her best friend was right, "I hate it when you're right."

The Clearwater girl chuckled, "I'll make it up to you. You're still coming over after practice tomorrow right?"

Grace nodded, even though Leah couldn't see her, "Yeah." She confirmed, "I guess I'll head inside. Love you Lee."

"Love you too Golden Girl." Leah told her before she hung up

Once her stuff was gathered up, she left the car and headed inside.

"Dad, I'm home!" She called out as she set her stuff down and grabbed an apple

She heard her father put his recliner down and her up. He came into the kitchen, "How was school and practice, Gracie-Bug?" He asked

After washing off the apple, she took a bite, "School was boring. We started practice late so I got my homework done and then we kept having to repeat everything." She said after her mouth was clear

Her dad nodded along, "That's good. Bella's in her room if you want to say hi."

Grace took the hint and walked upstairs. She knocked on her twin's door and then took another bite of the apple.

After a few seconds, the door opened. The twins looked at each other taking in all the differences since they last saw each other.

"Hey Bella." She greeted

Bella gave her an awkward smile, "Hi Grace."

"Did you have a good flight?" Grace asked before taking another bite of her apple

She wasn't really interested in whether Bella's flight was good but she hated awkward silences.

The brunette shrugged, "I guess."

Grace nodded and started backing away, "I'm... It'll be nice to have you here." She told her twin before retreating back downstairs.

Once back in the kitchen, she threw away the apple core and sighed, "That went well." She muttered to herself

The Swan family had just made sandwiches for dinner that night as no one felt like cooking. However, dinner  was a quiet affair. Unlike when it was just Grace and Charlie, the two never ran out of things to talk about.

"Maybe you could settle something for dad and I, Bells." Grace said, breaking the silence, "I think Taming of the Shrew is better than Romeo and Juliet but Dad thinks otherwise."

Taming of The Shrew was her second favorite thing by Shakespeare. The first was Hamlet.

She always complained about the required books for schools so she made her dad read all them alongside her.

If she had to suffer, then so did he.

Don't get her wrong, she loved reading. She just didn't like being told what to read.
