Magic Blix [Reference]

A/N: Hey loves, I will be using this here to create a reference sheet of sorts for the transformations, powers, and I will write some blurb about why I chose what I did. This will update as more fairies are introduced if I feel they are important enough to draw/reference individually, specifically in their "Magic Winx" transformation. There will be a separate one for future transformations (i.e. Charmix, Enchantix, etc.). It also makes a way that you guys can look back at it whenever you want in one spot! enjoy <3

Selena Celestar - The Fairy of Space

Selena's Magic Blix is made up of a short length, square-necked bodycon dress with a small slit over her left leg. In an attempt to capture an almost futuristic sort of vibe, it is split down the middle with a white chevrons and made up of two main colors: a muted but hot pink skirt that matches her knee-length gogo boots with a wedge heel, and a turquoise-blue top that matches her elbow-length fingerless gloves. The dress is completed by two thin straps that arch over her right shoulder, starry beads connecting them at the top. 

Around her neck is a simple black choker that dangles a large star charm on her neck. She also has simple leaf-shaped wings that point straight up. Both of these features are reminiscent of Flora's Magic Winx, and that was on purpose; it's a callback to Selena's origins, where I first made her as a recoloration of Flora in an effort to post as her and roleplay on online settings around 13 years ago now (this was a popular way to make OC's at the time, as many of us didn't draw OCs, but made them as "clones" of the original Winx with their own stories and arcs. That's where the Blix Club was made; I really just liked the word Blix, and it meant nothing on its own, just like Winx. So I picked that and ran with it!). 

There, I first made up her dark brown hair, neon-green eyes, and randomly chose pink to color in Flora's blonde highlights. Pink and blue have always been my favorite colors, so I figured they were close enough to a "spacey" vibe (like the vibrant colors of galaxies, etc.). And that's how she was born! Selena's specific Magic Blix has undergone many different versions, all of them different — but all of them have been a dress of some sort with the star choker, knee-length boots, and fingerless gloves. One of my first OC's I ever poured love and story into! <3
