Aiko and Ash looked at each other respectively as the man stood and walked towards their table.

The man stopped about 2 feet from their table and began, "Oh, I've heard about that problem from a few folks of mine. You see, there are rumors that that weapon belonged to none other than the god we all speak and anticipate the return of!!"

When the man said this, people from around who were listening started whispering amongst themselves in hushed whispers.

"Oh my God, is it true? Is The Titan really coming back?"

"Our prayers will finally come true!!"

"We've got to prepare our offerings for him!!"

Oh no...Aiko thought as he immediately caught on to what God this man was going on about. Having read tons of stories on this specific deity time and time again, he knew instantly who it was that the man was rambling about.

"And what God is that?" One person from the crowd that was beginning to gather asked.

The man laughed, "The Titan, of course!! What other God would I be speaking of? He's the maker of the world that we know today! He created magic!!"

"You mean the God that was so weak he couldn't even protect his people?"

"He did protect his people! When those demons came and attacked his people, he stood against them!! He held his own against them and his people were safe. It was his people that betrayed him because they were greedy!!"

Aiko groaned in annoyance. He was only asking for information so this mission could be easier, not all this extra information. It was unnecessary, to say the least.

Feeling as if a vein was about to pop on his forehead, he pushed into the middle of the escalating argument between the two men.

"Can we please get back on topic? I just want to know what is going on with this rampaging weapon that's floating around!!"

The man who was originally telling the tale, stopped and turned to Aiko, "Oh yeah! That weapon! Anyway, as I was saying, that weapon is rumored to have belonged to none other than The Titan himself!!"

Aiko looked at the man with a raised eyebrow, "So what does that have to do with it rampaging?"

The man's smile grew as he explained the next part, "Many of his believers--including myself-- believe that he shall return to us once more, as stated in his prophecy!!"

Aiko, "So, if The Titan has reincarnated, that could be a reason for the rampaging of this weapon?"

The man nodded his head, "Of course, why else would it suddenly awaken after almost a thousand years?"

Aiko pondered for a moment. That certainly would make sense, but the story about The Titan is just a children's tale...

"But isn't that story meant for kids?" Aiko asked.

The man looked him up and down after he asked that and said simply, "Although true that it was a children's tale, stories and legends are all born from the truth, are they not?"

Aiko, as well as everyone else in the restaurant, was silent as the man continued, "I believe that our beloved savior, The Titan, will return to guide us. After all, in the original story pamphlet, it is stated that he shall emerge a thousand years after his assassination."

He was right. It was now a thousand years from the time in which the story originally took place, so if it were true, it would make sense.

At the end of the day, however, it is only a children's tale, so Aiko ought to only delve deeper into this theory once there is more evidence. The Titan's Legend was a story passed down for generations that was always told to kids in today's world as either a bedtime story or played as a game where kids would act out the story.
