"Princess and the Captain"

Chapter 11

The Princess slid on the hand chains, making her way to the docks in her beautiful new dress. She slides on her bracelets and she walks down to docks, looking for the Diamond Rave. Vaun spots her from afar and smiled, making his way to her. The sun was setting on the beautiful sea. Vaun puts his arm around her. "Hey, Captain." Gisela giggled. "Hey, Princess." Vaun smiled a bit. "I'm glad you wanted to hang out with me out of all pretty women in the world." She snickers a bit. "No woman nor girl have I met can compare to your beauty, Princess." Vaun helped her onto the ship. "How kind of you." Gisela smiled. Vaun climbed onto the ship after her. Vaun pulled her to him and began dancing.

"You look beautiful tonight" Vaun said, shyly. Gisela smiled, holding closer to him. "Why thank you, Captain. Means a lot coming from you, you're not really the compliment type." Gisela chuckled a bit. "Its treacherous to tango with you, but I love the thrill." Gisela sung. "It's treacherous to tango with you, this can hardly be real." Vaun continues. "I've done it once before, in my dreams, is this what love really means?" They sung together. "Your body on mine, nothing had ever felt so right. Your hand in mine, I can tell tonight is gonna be the night. I know not your name, your age, but you're mine." Gisela smiled. "Your head on my chest, Alan can keep his treasure. A deal with royalty is such a great pressure. I wish tonight was going to be the night. So close, but she'll never be mine." Vaun sighs, twirling her, and pulling her back in. "Its treacherous to tango with you, hand and hand, a love so true." They both sung. "But I love the thrill..." Gisela faded. "This can hardly be real.." Vaun smiled.

Vaun picked her up and spins her over to the staircase. "I should probably tell you.. my name is Kaden Nez, I'm actually from Hurbane." Vaun exhales, glad to get it off his chest to someone. Gisela smiled and ran up the staircase. "Hey!" He called out, chasing after her. He grabs her hand and spins her. He brought her back to his chest, waltzing once more. "Would you catch me if I were to fall?" She asked him. "I would said the ends of the earth for you." He smiled. "Then I have to tell you this.. I've fallen... for you." She blurted. He let go and backed up, this had happened in his dreams, but he didn't expect it to be real. "Princess.. I'm sorry.. I- we leave for Garcian in the morning.." Vaun turned to walk away. "KADEN!" She cried out, grabbing his arm. He sighs, turning his face towards her. "At least tell me you love me so!" Gisela tears up. He brought Gisela close and he placed a kiss on her lips. They both broke into silent tears, neither wanting to break the long awaited kiss.

"I'm sorry, Princess" Vaun hugs her tight. "No you're not.. I was just treasure you happened to fall in love with." She storms back to the deck, leaving the ship. Vaun puffed up his chest and wipes his eyes. "I knew I shouldn't have let my emotions get on the way." He told himself, coldly. He went into the Captain's cabin and put on his leather jacket. He heads to the tavern where the rest of the crew was. "I thought you were gonna be with Gisela" Shamrock commented. Vaun had an absent look on his face. "Oh what did you do?! Vaun, she loves you and you're still taking her to Garcian?!" Joe hissed, storming out to find Gisela. It wasn't long before Joe found the Princess, crying in a jeweler's shop. "Oh, Gisela." Joe hugs her. "He loves me.. he kissed me.. but he's still taking me to Garcian." Gisela sobbed. The jeweler hands her a golden ring with a pearl made from her necklace. She hands the jeweler a few coins and Joe walks her out. They head back to the ship.
