"Princess and the Captain"

Chapter 13

About three days later they arrive at Hudsora. Vaun had bought her a red dress like she requested and brought it back to her.  She walks out of the Captain's cabin and looked to him nervously. "You look beautiful.. it'll be ok, Gisela." He held her hand out. Gisela nodded and took his hand. He wraps her arm around her, wearing his nicest clothes. "Think he'll say yes?" Gisela asked. "Probably not.. but that's ok." Vaun smiled at her as they reached the gate to the palace. "I love you, Kaden." Gisela kissed him, softly. "I love you more, don't forget that. You're worth more than anything in the world to me.. I promise to never let you go again." Vaun kissed her head, knocking on the gates of the palace.

The handmaiden screams and hugs Gisela. "Come in, dear! Come in!" The handmaiden ran inside to tell the king she had returned. The king and queen ran outside before she could even reach the palace to hug their daughter. "Gisela, you have returned to us! Who have you brought with you?" King Robert II asked. "Mother, father.. this is Kaden. My true love." Gisela made a nervous smile. "Thank you for returning her." Her father nodded his head. "It is so wonderful to finally meet you." Queen Marrisa smiled. "We shall throw a ball in celebration of your return!" King Robert announced. "Before that.. Your Majesty.." Kaden took a deep breath. "I love Gisela more than anything in the world.. these last few weeks she's proven my everything.. so I ask you, King Robert the second of Hudsora.. May I have Gisela's hand in marriage?" Kaden asked. "Young Kaden, you've proven to defy all odds, if it makes my dear Gisela happy, I give you my blessing." The king of Hudsora nodded.

Gisela and Kaden grin and Gisela jumped into his arms. They shared a quick kiss and a tight hug. "You shall be married in a week's time. Until then take care of what you need to before you are betrothed." King Robert smiled, hugging his daughter. "I'll go tell the crew. I have to do something before the wedding, I'll see you at the altar, Princess." Kaden placed a kiss on her lips, walking away. "Alright, Captain! I love you!" She waved him off. "I love you more!" He said before walking out of the gates. "So what all happened? How did you disappear and come back with your true love?" Her mother asked. "King Pedro and Prince Alan hired my true love, Captain Vaun, to kidnap me. He sent his crew to kidnap me. We stopped at Hurbane where he got into a fight so I fixed his wounds. We sailed towards Gonglofon when we were attacked by sirens. I killed the siren queen but got dragged off board." She showed her siren mark. "Vaun crashes onto Elvar'a. He gets kidnapped and held hostage. I meet a saytr named Capri and he helps save him but he dies. We escape to Gonglofon and we confess our love but he takes me to Garcian the next day. I'm at the altar but he returns the riches and then he takes me home." Gisela hugged her parents.
