we say we're friends but you know when we're alone i give you pieces of my soul.

you had been in your office, looking over some work Principal Yaga had given you that morning. it was going on 6, staring at the clock above your office door you lean back in your chair, hands over your face. "this is so boring," you mumble to yourself. no wonder Gojo avoids it so much... you drag your hands down your face, staring at the pile in front of you. there was a knock at your door. "come in," you call out, grabbing another paper from the unfinished pile. at least i'm almost done... "hey, Y/n!" you look up at the sound of the girls voice, shooting your head up in surprise. "Utahime?!" you stand from your desk, running over to her and scooping her up in your arms. you and Utahime had been close for ages, since you started Jujutsu High as a student, she had come here a few times herself. despite being 3 years older than you, you both became friends almost immediately. it wasn't too often you had the privilege of seeing her as you didn't typically travel, mostly stayed on school grounds. "did you see Gojo on your way here?" you ask her, with a mischievous smirk. she rolls her eyes, detaching herself from your clutches. "thankfully, no. i really don't know what you see in a guy like him," she folds her arms over her chest, rolling her eyes as she did so. "a guy like who?" you both jump at the new voice entering the conversation. standing in the doorway had been Satoru Gojo himself. "Utahime! hey!" he greets cheerily, leaning down to her level with that typical wide grin. "get out of my face, Satoru," she speaks with visible irritation. Utahime and Gojo never got along. she never liked his demeanor and cocky, confident attitude.

"Aw, don't be like that Hime," he pats her head. Utahime smacks his hand off her head, "don't touch me, creep!" she snaps but Gojo pays no attention as he continues to walk, positioning himself next to you. "what guy are you seeing?" Gojo asks, now placing his full attention on you. you just shrug, "no one," you respond, crossing your arms, quickly glancing at Utahime. "it wasn't about me, was it?" he teases, leaning in close to your face. you push his head away with your hand, walking up to Utahime, "don't get so full of yourself, Satoru. not all of my conversations are about you," you take hold of Utahime's hand and walk out, leaving him alone in your office.

sitting at a table in a cafe that was nearby, you take a sip of your tea, a sigh falling from your lips. "so i assume you haven't told him?" the long haired girl asks, taking a bite of her croissant. you shake your head, lowering your gaze to the cup before you. "i personally think you could do better. someone who wants more than this fling of yours. what about Nanami? he's a good guy!" Utahime says encouragingly. you gave her a weird look, "Nanami? no way, he's too serious for me. i love him but i get a strong feeling he'd be a bore. he's never truly relaxed and takes things too literal," you say, taking another sip of your drink. "maybe that's what you need. i know you've liked him since the beginning of time, but honestly Y/n... Satoru Gojo? of all people you chose the most insufferable person alive to fall for." a moment of silence passed. you knew she was right. despite your similarities, you knew you had no chance being something more with him. hectic schedule aside, he never seemed interested in relationships that weren't strictly sex and unattached. come to think of it with how frequent he flirts with people, youve never seen him commit to someone. sure the sex with him was nice, but you wanted more than just hookups. you wanted to wake up beside him, go on dates and do the typical couple things that you would normal cringe at had it been anyone else. "he's not insufferable, you just don't like how flirty and egotistical he is," you laugh. "you got that right, and you're pretty close on level with him," she teases. "please, no one's as flirty as Gojo," you roll your eyes to which Utahime raises a brow at you, "you sure about that?" you set your cup down in disbelief. "I AM NOT!" you look around to see if anyone had looked at you with how loud you just spoke. "please, you're worse than MeiMei," Utahime says, putting her chin into the palm of her hand. "whatever," you finish up your tea before you both head out the shop.

you had said your goodbye's to Utahime as you had to get back to work. you step back into your office, seeing it as you had left it except for one thing... "hey, welcome back!" he says cheerily, looking up at you from your desk. "why are you in my chair? get up," you say pulling him up by his arm, gently shoving him to the side. you reach for a paper only to find that all of it had been finished. you shoot a look up at Gojo who was now leaning over your shoulder from the back of your seat. "so," he starts, his tone teasing, "who was Utahime talking about?" he asks. "did you finish my work?" you ignore his question, turning your chair a little to get a better view of him. "i did. who was Utahime talking about? who is he?" he asks again, sounding a bit more eager to know than previously. "no one, Satoru. don't worry about it," you wave off his question, leaning back in your chair. he grabs the arm rests and pulls you closer to him so you were trapped between him and the chair. "Gojo, seriously. it was just a silly comment she made. there isn't anyone-" "i don't believe you, Princess," he says, getting dangerously close to your face. "Satoru Gojo, are you insinuating that i, Y/n L/n, would lie to you?" you grab his chin, pulling his face just close enough for your lips to brush against each other. "absolutely," he says taking a quick glance down to your lips. "who is he?" he's visibly trying to hold himself back, fighting for his curiosity to control him rather than what he really wanted. "no one," you give in, pressing your lips to his. it was quick and gentle but clear that you both hated being at work right now. "don't lie to me," his hands move from the arm rests to your hands, pulling you up from the seat, he leans back against the desk, pulling you into him, kissing your lips gently. "if there's someone, i won't get jealous," he says in between a kiss that held a bit more desperation in it. "there isn't anyone else," you say, pulling your lips from his, looking at his face. "you're so stubborn. why wont you admit it's me?" he sighs, tilting his head back. your eyes widen in surprise. "w-what?!" your face immediately turns a bright red. "i-i don't know what you're talking about! where did you get that idea from?!" you take a step back from him. he holds onto your hands, looking down at you. "i heard almost the whole conversation, Y/n," he says with a cheeky smile, locking your fingers with his own. your hands tighten around his, "YOU'VE BEEN TEASING ME THIS WHOLE TIME?!" you yell, more so disappointed in yourself for not picking up on it. "if it makes you feel any better," he pulls you into his chest, tilting your head up with his hand, "the feelings are mutual." he smiles, biting his lip a little. "i assumed you were into Nanami, so i never said anything," he continued with an exhale as though a boulder had been lifted off his shoulders. "liar," you smile brushing your lips against his neck, your arms wrapped around him. "yeah, he's not your type. thank god," with one swift move you found yourself laying on your desk, Gojo leaned over you, one hand placed on either side of your head, the other holding on to your waist. "i've waited so long for this," he says with a big smile. you grab his face, pulling him down into a deep, desperate kiss. pressing his body against yours, his hand on your gripping the end of your shirt, ready to tear it off. there was a knock at the door. you both shot up at the sound, straightening your clothes. "Y/n, is Gojo-," a student stepped in. "YUJI!" Gojo exclaims, almost breathless, walking out the door with the kid.
