I try to shield my closed eyes from the mild light with my arms, smiling as I pull Squishy close to me.

Wait, Squishy!

I open my eyes quickly, only to close them again. This time I open them slowly, adjusting them to the mild light before looking at the white furry bear lying between me and Mavy.

I can't suppress the wide smile that spreads across my face as I hug him close to me.

I still can't believe I got him back.

I missed you so much, Squishy.

'Where have you been? If it was not for Hades, I never would have found you, Squishy.' I murmur as I continue to hug him.

I guess Hades is not that bad, just as Ares and Alessandro had said before. He even apologized to me. I keep smiling as I think about our conversation yesterday.

He's actually quite nice.

A mumbling sound coming from Mavy makes me turn my gaze from Squishy to him. I see his face contort as the ends of his long hair cover his eyes and tickle his skin.

I smile looking at the faces that he makes in his sleep before slowly brushing the hair on his forehead aside with my fingers, in order to smoothen out the wrinkles formed on his forehead. He relaxes instantly as he puts my hand, which I used to brush his hair away, against his cheek and falls back asleep with a soft smile.

My heart fills with joy when I see his smile. I never thought I would have a brother like him. No, not a brother, but a best friend.

My best friend.

I never thought I would ever find a friend in my life. A friend as sweet as him. It's so fascinating how easily we understand each other.

Yesterday, when Mavy left for school in the morning, I was a little sad because I thought I would be alone again because the others would be busy with their work. But I was so wrong.

I actually enjoyed the day with Zee and Onyx.

Zee is a great artist. I was fascinated when I looked at the painting in the library, I did not realize he was such a good artist. He also taught me a few techniques and promised to teach me more.
