Clearing my head

When I exited the portal, I fell to my knees and panted a bit. I looked around and noticed I was in an alleyway. When I looked up though, I saw I was in hell. I never explored it before, so I guess now was the time. That was after some crying on the floor.

'They deserved what they had coming to them. Stop feeling bad. I just brought you to your full potential.'

"Killing in that way was bad. What you did was bad. No. What I did was bad."

I was blaming myself for the horrific scene in Lackadaisy. I got up after a couple more minutes though. I walked out of the alleyway and started to wander the streets. I was... I was taller then everyone. That made me stand out a lot. I noticed some people looked at me, but boings weren't in anyone's shadows. I bumped into someone, and then we got into a little argument.

"Hey! Watch where you're going, freak!" Yelled the guy.

"Look, I'm going to walk wherever the fuck I want and do whatever I want."

He pushed me, I pushed back. Then he tried punching me. The move was easy to read somehow and I dodged before grabbing his shoulder quickly and punching him upward in the stomach. He fell down and I gave him a couple kicks to the stomach before moving on. I noticed though that hell was high tech for some reason.

-what are those rectangular things they have- I signed to Ricky.

'Phones. We seem to be in the helluva boss hell instead of your hell. Must be because the grimoire you have is connected to this specific dimension.'

-I'm not going to think about the implications of that too much.-

I then noticed something. As I walked, the amount of people around me thinned. Eventually, I was on my own in what should be a part of a city full of people.

'Something's wrong.'

"Yeah. No kid..."

Heat. Pain. I felt both of those as I was flung into a building. I crashed through brick and into a house with no one in it. As I looked up, I saw some weird monster things. It was a stick figure with a messed up face, and it's arms were whips that had sharp bones sticking out of it. Along it was another stick figure that was staticky and green.

'Glitch. We're dead.'

Ricky sounded hopeless which was not like him. He was like me. Cocky, cunning, and sometimes a bit annoying. He sounded like we were going to die though. I stood up though and tried saying something.

"Hey!? How many plot twist in a row are we going to have before I can get my happily ever after!?"

I was feeling a bit better it seems. Glitch responded with,

"Make this easy and let me put one of my entities in you so I can control you. I'll even put your consciousness to sleep so you won't have to witness your life being taken over by it."

"I'm sorry, but that sounds like a bad deal. I'm going to go with the run and gun option."

He chuckled, "should've know you would run like a pussy. It's all you're good at after all, Rocky."

I chuckled nervously. He knew some stuff about me.

'Anyways, goodbye." I then bolted out of the building and down the street using a speed spell.
