(CODY POV)
"FIGHT! FIGHT!"
The hallways roar with noise, a tough looking guy standing across from Trent, who also looked tough... but I doubt he's winning this fight.
I don't know why they're fighting. I don't know who this tough guy is, all I know is he's covered in sweet piercings and is beating Trent, bad.I felt someone tap my shoulder, "The fight lasts longer when you're recording it!" A ginger girl smiled at me, pulling out her phone and chanting.
"Do you know why they're fighting?" I asked, she shrugged, "Probably over Gwen." She laughed, chanting for them to keep fighting."Who?"
"Duncan's girlfriend," The girl turned to me, "Hey! You're new here right?" I nodded, "Waiiit, are you friends with Trent? That's totally funny."
"Why?"
She shrugged, looking back at the fight.Okay this girl is weird.. "Usually Trent's friends are like hot, you're kind of average."
"Okay, ouch?"
She smiled, looking at me. "No offense! You're cute, but like Trent's friends are the hottest guys in school. Like Justin, he's my ex. I hate him, but he's the hottest guy in school."The girl turned back to the fight, and I decided not to keep trying to talk to her. She seemed... weird.
I watched the two fight, Trent getting punched right in the eye. Ouch.. that looks like it hurt.
Majority of the crowd started booing, I
assume they were rooting for Trent. This other guy really must not be liked.
He didn't look too bad, just your average delinquent who probably has 20 infected piercings.
But that is a really hated stereotype.Trent punched the guy right in the eye, making him stumble, falling on his butt!
"WOOO!! TRENT!!" I yelled, cheering him on. If i'm gonna make friends here, I gotta cheer them on in a fight. The guy, who the fact I don't know his name is bugging the hell out of me, quickly got up on his feet, tackling Trent to the ground. Ouch. "Ooof.. Yeah, I need to get to class." The girl said quietly, backing away.
Trent's totally loosing, and that girl has a point. I need to get to science class.
I hope Noah's here today.
I can feel myself smile, backing away from the yelling and walking to science.
I come in early, somehow, walking over to my and Noah's shared desk, to which he sat reading."Hey, you see Trent fighting with that guy in the hallway? His ass was getting beat, eh?" I chuckled. Noah put down his book, eyeballing me.
"He's seriously fighting Duncan again? Yeah, he's 100% getting his ass beat." Noah said dryly as I placed my trapper-keeper-bag onto the ground next to my desk.I sat down, looking over his shoulder to see the book he was reading. "Wow, a book, how interesting." I said sarcastically, he rolled his eyes, closing his book and setting it on his desk, turning to look at me.
"At least I don't play subway surfers in the middle of class."I chuckled, shrugging and taking out my phone, texting some old friends.
..
"You seriously fought Duncan because of Gwen again?! Trent you idiot!" Justin ridiculed Trent, holding an ice pack on his black eye.
"Thanks for helping with the ice pack at least..." Trent said quietly. "Shut up!""Will the both of you shut up?!" Noah groaned, pressing the button at the crosswalk. Tapping his foot impatiently as he waiting for the light to turn and the little white guy walking to appear on screen. Cars zooming past on the sidewalk, making the cold even colder.
"Thanks for letting me walk with you guys." I walked over to Noah, smiling at him.
He nodded, smiling back at me, "No problem."
I looked at my watch, looking back at Noah.
"I need to be home by four though.. it's a uh, thing." He nodded, grabbing my hand and pulling me across the street."We can cross now." He said, intertwining our fingers. He has warm hands.
I wish I didn't have to go so soon, I couldn't even stay at the Café with them because of therapy.Therapy sucks.
