"Hard-pressed Jedi and their valiant clone troopers have thwarted an insidious Separatist plot to plant bombs loaded with the deadly blue shadow virus in key Republic systems. Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker have captured the vile scientist behind the nefarious scheme, Dr. Nuvo Vindi. Now the Jedi prepare to transport Vindi to the Republic capital for trial."
Anakin and Obiwan are topside, loading the Scientist into a transport ship to prison.
"That was close. If that virus had escaped,
everyone on Naboo would be dead now." Anakin said.
"Oh, well. Just another boring day saving the universe." Obiwan shrugs
"All right, let's take this sleemo back to Theed so we can help Padme, (Y/n) and Ahsoka clean up down there." He said, as this happens (Y/n) and a pair of clones desperately search for the missing vial, they enter the large chamber of bombs.
"We search here again, it has to be somewhere..." they begin to take them down again before a urgent beep catches them off guard, (Y/n) turns around to see the droid lodging the vial into a bomb and activating the explosive. (Y/n) was ready to draw his saber to fight but he knew this would only get him killed, "Run!" (Y/n) uses the force to push the Clone out of the room and then back to the bomb. He throws a force barrier to absorb some of the explosion, but it wasn't enough as it exploded still, knocking him out of the room and slamming it shut. The Jedi hits the wall hard, and falls unconscious.
The clones see the door leak, as the explosion broke the seals, the virus pours out and they pick up the Commander and rush him away.
"What was that?" Ashoka and company hear the explosion and see the clones running with (Y/n) in tow.
"Virus leak. Get to the safe room!" The clones rush to meet the others, they close in as the door begins to shut, Ashoka uses the force to keep the door open long enough for Captain Rex and the others to make their way inside, she joins in and they slam the door behind them shut. Anakin and Obiwan hear the faint explosion.
"Ahsoka, what is going on down there?" Anakin calls in.
"The droids released the virus, but we managed to seal the lab."
"And Padme?"
"Haven't heard from her since the bomb." She said, looking over to (Y/n), who had a few cuts and bruises from the explosion but seemingly okay. She quickly rushed to his side.
"Can you hear me? (Y/n)?" She grabbed his shoulders and he opens his eyes, blinking a few times, he sits up.
"Ashoka? What happened?"
"We took you back to the safe room, what Happened? We heard an explosion—"
"The Virus!" (Y/n) tries to stand up but wobbles, "The droid put the vial in one of the bombs, I was too late to stop him, I tried to contain the virus. I'm sorry." (Y/n) shook his head, Ashoka gives a sad smile. "Hey, don't feel bad.. you did what you could." She says to reassure the Jedi. Back at topside, Anakin had his saber at the neck of Vindi
"Where's the antidote, Vindi?" He demands, and laughter comes from Vindi.
"You mistake my role, Jedi. My job was to manufacture a plague, not to cure it." He retorts, Anakin raises the blade higher.
"We don't have time for games."
"Patience, Anakin. There's more
than one way to skin a womp rat." Obiwan says, but Anakin ignores him.
"I said, "where?"
"Yes, kill me now and spare these old bones
the blue shadow's dire embrace, because once the first droid breaks out of that laboratory, all Naboo is doomed!" Vindi laughs, realizing he's won, this was his victory. Obiwan and Anakin think.
