Chapter Thirteen: Zillo, Part 2

"A calculated risk! Following a costly victory on the planet Malastare, Chancellor Palpatine orders Jedi Knight Mace Windu and Padawan (Y/n) Kexus to transport a fearsome Zillo Beast captured during the battle back to Coruscant. After seeing that nothing could harm the Beast, Chancellor Palpatine hopes to unlock the secret of its invulnerability to create new armor for the Republic's clone troopers. Tensions run high as the most dangerous life form in the galaxy touches down on the Republic's most populous planet!"

A massive Republic Ship comes in, closing into the senate building as it drops down, soldiers and cannons await as the beast is loaded off the ship by a large flat vehicle.

Palpatine was watching intently on the ground, seeing the countless ideas run through his mind. Anakin, (Y/n) and Windu approach.

"Such size, such power." Palpatine said, a wry smile crept along his aged face.

"With respect, Chancellor, I believe this creature could pose any number of dangers. Bringing it here to Coruscant is a mistake." Windu said, with worry.

"I assure you I did not make this decision
lightly, Master Jedi. The sooner we unlock the Zillo Beast's secrets, the sooner we can end this terrible war." Palpatine responded with zealous kindness.

"I hope you're right, Chancellor."

Doctor Boll approaches with walkers to take the still living Zillo beast to be "taken care of." By the Republic.

"I'm turning the Zillo Beast over to you, Doctor. I trust it will be given good care." Windu said to her.

"The Beast is a priceless resource, Master Windu. It will be well treated, I assure you." The the Jedi depart, leaving Boll and Windu to ponder.

(Y/n) relays the events back to his master, as it all has a suspicious air around it. (y/n) and Obiwan spoke in the conference room, (Y/n) now dealing with his Jedi hair braid.

"Why would the Chancellor want to bring the Beast here? I know that he thinks by studying it, the knowledge could prove beneficial, but from what you and Windu reported on Malastare, it hardly seems worth the effort." Obiwan says (Y/n) nodded

"I had also considered that. Master Windu tried to convince him, without much success." (Y/n) explained, and (Y/n) and Obiwan rub their chins thinking.

"Well then, in that case, perhaps it's time we let someone else try." Obiwan said, much to the confusion of his Padawan and (Y/n) eyes him. "What do you mean master?" (Y/n) replies, and they come up with a plan.

Obiwan and (Y/n) now wait with Senator Padme and C-3PO. Anakin and R2-D2 approach, anakin surprised to see his fellow Jedi. C3 and R2 greet each other

"Oh, hello! You're not in trouble again, are you?" C3 asks, and R2 Beeps offended.

"I am not being rude." C3 gasps.

"Not that it isn't a pleasure, Senator, but I thought I was just meeting Obi-Wan here." Anakin said to Padme, and she explains the situation.

"Padawan Kexus and Master Kenobi explained the problem. I'm here to help." She said

"Problem? What problem?" Anakin asks confused..

"The situation with our friend from Malastare." Obiwan said

"Uh-huh. I see what's going on here. You think I can help influence the Chancellor."

"The Zillo Beast was chained up and brought here against its will. When we captured it, we assumed it would be taken some planet safe.. but this isn't what we wanted." (Y/n) says.
