"want to talk about what is going on?" He asked when I sat up and looked at him.
"there is nothing going on. I was just sitting in the garden while you where dealing with trails or whatever it is you do during trial or trials. and you found me and said I wasn't where you left me as if I am a prisoner in this place" I say
"I didn't mean for it to come out like that" he says getting frustrated
"is this how your gonna be with me every time something like what took place in the garden happens?" I asked
"what?" he asked
"you are getting frustrated with me just cause I'm explaining to you how I took you words. I mean if you will only get frustrated with me then what is the point of me being here. honestly I don't want to be with someone who is always frustrated with me when I explain how I take things." I say
"so you want to leave me?" he asked
I got up and walked off or was going to but he stopped me.
"answer me" he says
"why so you can twist my words around and put words in my mouth I never said or thought?" I asked
"you said you didn't want to be with someone who only gets frustrated with you when you explain things" he says
"I know what I said. and I mean it cause its stupid to be frustrated when I'm merely explaining how I took your words" I say
"maybe I should've just left you in forks with the Cullens" he says
"Yeah you should have" I say before I snatched my arm away and walked out the door. going to talk to the one person that seems to understand me.
i knocked on the library door and walked in when granted permission.
"is it possible for a mate bone to be removed?" I asked
he closed the book and looked at me.
"why?" he asked
"I'm sure you can see the bond between Demerti and I isn't as it was when we first met and when I first got here" I say
its not as bright as it was" he says
"we had a disagreement before I walked in here and he put words in my mouth then said he should've left me in forks with the Cullens" I say
"Oh my dear." he says opening his arms
I walked up to him wrapped my arms around him and sobbed.
He held and comforted me the whole time. and not once did he ever tell me to stop crying. he just allowed me to let it all out.
when I finally calmed down I started talking with him and explaining everything.
"wait isn't it the month of your mother's passing?" he asked
"Yes. and I always get like this every time. and like always people who I thought understood me or loved me seem to misunderstand me and show their true colors." I say
"Does Demetri know?" he asked
"As if it would fix anything," I say
he went to say something but stopped and seemed to be listening for something.
"my dear. pardon me for asking but have you and Demetri been careful?" He asked
"No. we haven't and I am not protected" I replied
he smiled
"I believe another reason you're emotional is you're pregnant. I hear their heartbeat" he says
my eyes widen and jaw drop. before I collected myself and looked down at my stomach.
"I don't even look pregnant so how..."
"half vampire. which means that this pregnancy will not be like a human one" Marcus answered my unasked question.
"Oh. so that would mean that I'd be needing things Vampires need?" I asked
he closed his eyes and nodded before reopening them.
"my poor baby will be mistreated and used as a test object" I sobbed as I sank to my knees
"no my dear they will not. I will not allow it," he says
I wiped my eyes.
"Be honest with me. is there like a bond between you and me?" I asked
"yes. its like you're my soul daughter" he says
"no wonder I feel as if I could come talk with you about anything" I say
he smiled and helped me up and used his handkerchief to wipe my eyes and face.
"now here is a serious question for you since things between you and Demetri are not doing so great. do you want to leave?" he asked
"no. but I'll move my things into a different room so that I am no burden to him since he is always frustrated with me" I say
he nods his head before we head off to find me a simple room where I can reside. Once we find one he helped me move all my things into that room before he takes me to the kitchen where I consumed so much food feel like I could bust but I need something more.
"here" he says handing me a cup with a lid and straw.
I knew right off what it was so I took and drank it with no questions asked.
"thank you" I say
"welcome" he says before he helps me back to the room I'm not gonna be staying in.
"get you some rest. if you want you can lock this door. no one will know you are here." he says
"unless Aro touches your hand and sees" I replied
"I'll make him keep it to himself" he says
I nod my head and kissed his cheek before thanking him as I crawled into bed and went to sleep with a lot on my mind.
