12: Stressed Out

(Some more drama. Sorry if your feelings are hurt)

-P.S I forgot about Valentine's Day.. uhm.. I might do a Valentine's Day chapter pretty late but idk what I want the romance to be about. It's too early for smut 😭😭

Tighnari was seen running down a hall at a high speed. He seemed to be inside of a desert temple, it was a big place with a lot of mazes. It was like the whole temple was a labyrinth.

Why again!? What do these Eremites want!? Tighnari looked back at the huge gathering of Eremites that were following him. He dodged some arrows, and turned corners to get out of view. Why are they always chasing me?

Tighnari used a Dendro vine to pull himself up onto another level. He shot arrows at the Eremites coming around the corner, then ran off again. There were a bunch of Eremites waiting for him.

The Forest Ranger had no choice but to run straight through them. He jumped to avoid an arrow to the chest, shot by a crossbow wielding eremite, then jumped onto the back of said eremite. Tighnari pointed his bow back at an eremite that was holding a physical weapon. He shot the arrow and got rid of that one, then knocked out the eremite that he was standing on.

Just then, another intruder that came from behind a wall shot an arrow at Tighnari. The fox pulled an unconscious eremite in front of him, blocking the arrow that pierced into the human shield. Tighnari dropped the eremite, not giving any time to the only conscious eremite in the arrow. After shooting him with a Dendro arrow, he took a moment to breathe.

Tighnari saw someone that was bigger and taller. An Eremite Sunfrost. The eremite threw one of his ice blades at Tighnari, catching him off guard.

He was able to move out of the way, but not quite fast enough. His wrist got cut deep, and spewed blood. "Ghrkk!" Tighnari clenched his teeth, groaning at the pain. He had to ignore it, and jumped into a corridor to avoid another ice blade.

Tighnari broke the machine that was beside the entrance, which made the mechanical door close. He took some time to rest and checked on his wound. It was bleeding a lot. Had he not moved fast enough, he may have lost his entire hand.

Something had to be done to stop the bleeding. What works? Tighnari lifted up his poncho and bit onto it to gain access to his waistband. He untied his waistband, letting the loose cloth underneath unfold. The purple cloth that was originally around his waist was used as a bandage to wrap up his wrist.

Tighnari sighed. This should hold for some time.. I need to get out of here somehow.. He looked around. Using his ears to listen to his surroundings, he tried to pinpoint a way to escape the place.

The sounds of the cryo wielding eremite banging on the mechanical door startled Tighnari. The door was going to be broken in. Tighnari had to figure out what to do before the door breaks.

The eremite finally broke down the door. He looked around, unable to see Tighnari. But then all of a sudden, something hung down on top of him, and a stone brick broke on his head and knocked him out cold.

Tighnari hung there, upside down and looking at the unconscious being. He was hanging on dendro vjene, which were connected to his tail. The fox flipped himself over and landed on his feet. The eremite remained unconscious as he was disarmed. Tighnari fled again, going down an elevator.

As he was going down, an Eremite Daythunder suddenly charged at him from a floor the elevator was going by.

Tighnari pulled out his bow last second, but couldn't shoot it as he was forced into an empty room that he didn't want to go into. When he got up, his bow was across the room, on the Eremites side. "Kh.."
