"What are we going to do with the zombies anyway?" Sara asks "We can't leave them here."

"They have no use back in their dimension" Kyle says "So we can scrap them and use the parts or melt them down."

"Either way, all we need intact is the driver." Michael says "Then maybe we'll have more then just a name for this guy."

"How many are there?" James asks

"Three." Kyle says "But Michael and I ran into one and took it down on our way back. I've got both our spots set up with what we'll need for the other two."

"Can you please try not to leave too many bullet holes with that machine gun of yours?" Sara sighs.

"I'll see what I can do." Michael says "Now, after I tell you what area you're assigned to, Kyle will give you a quick overview of the spots that you'll have to watch out for and the weapons that he's got laid out waiting for you."

"Let's get this over with." Sara says "The sooner we finish this, the sooner I can have a shower."

"I second that." I say.

"Ok Sara, you're going to location one with Tessa and me." Michael says, pulling up some scans on his hologram watch. "James has set up a few holo floaters with projections of us running. That should get them to follow as they all seem pretty set on getting us. Once they are properly distracted, I'm going after the R-Y. You and Tessa have a path to follow and a few places to block off to make sure that none of the zombies stray and make the clean up harder . Bex, Kyle and James, you have the same thing but with building two. I've uploaded the route to your holo watches and marked out the places that you need to make sure that you block off."

"Ok, my turn." Kyle says, switching to a more detailed images of each start point. "Michael you have Ending Ride, a grapple gun and a few grenades. I got a good look at them and I don't think they are as sturdy as they appear so that should be enough to take care of it no problem. Tessa, you have your earth, illusion and stealth charms. Sara, your wand should be all that you need but I did leave you a handgun just in case. Bex and James, you both have what you need."

"I'll drop everyone off at their first spot and I'll give a signal when everyone is in place and ready to go." Michael says "Use that time to familiarize yourselves route that you will be taking. We move out in, let's say, twenty minutes?"

We all nod and get to studying the pre-planned route. I take note of the direction that I'll be going and all the spots that I'll have to watch out for. This will end up being a stealth op. Cause if any of these things see us, they'll give chase and mess up the plan. I open my bag and rifle through to find what I might need. Cloak of invisibility and my wand should do the trick. If I get into trouble I have my hand guns and throwing knives. I shouldn't need anything else. After all this is meant to be an easy one. Actually, forget that I said that. Nothing in this job ever ends up being easy.

Twenty minutes later we are all lined up and ready to move out. Michael is pretty good at keeping things simple and effective, so his route was easy to memorize.

"Ok everyone," Sara says "Be careful and make sure that you aren't seen. That will change the whole plan if you are. Got it?"

We all acknowledge her order and step through the portal Galaxy has ready for each of us.

I'm not a huge fan of portal travel. Don't get me wrong, the almost instantaneous travel is immensely useful, but the very short time that you are in that black hole.....it can be disorienting. You get used to it, but I don't like that I have no sense of where I am. I like the dark, but in the dark, you can feel the ground underneath you and have an idea of where you are in space. As much as I don't need a gadget to do what Michael can, I would like a portal that doesn't make me feel like I could get lost in the darkness. I position myself at the starting point and wait for the signal. My holo watch buzzes and the countdown starts.
