THE ROOM WAS DIM and dark as the loud sounds of a woman shrieking in pain could be heard throughout the small room. She gripped the bed sheets, clenching them hard until her nails broke from the force.
"Push harder, madam! I can see her head!!" The frantic noise of the nurse who was assisting the laboring woman delivering her child, "Give it your best madam!! You're almost there!!"
With one last pained cry, the woman gave her best and finally pushed the baby girl out, sighing in relief when she heard the faint cries of the small baby whom she had successfully pushed out.
The corner of her mouth curved upwards, smiling in relief when she saw her child. The woman had silver platinum hair, and violet eyes that beamed weakly when she studied the baby in the nurse's arms with a curious glint.
"Congratulations, madam... Your baby girl is a healthy and pretty one, just like her mother..." The nurse congratulated, scooping the naked baby in her arms.
The nurse showed the sleeping child to the woman who was covered with a thick layer of sweat. The woman cracked a smile as a tear slid down her cheeks.
"I'm glad..." She let out a heavy and shaky sigh, closing her eyes as the nurse in front of her raised her eyebrows.
"Madam?" She asked but the woman never seemed to respond causing the nurse to widen her eyes in realization when she saw that she was pale white.
"Madam!?"
"Someone get emergency help!!!!" The nurse screamed as footsteps from outside the room barged inside the room, along with a worried-looking man who pushed the others aside, wanting to check his wife.
He stood beside her bed, engulfing the woman's pale cold hand within his.
"Honey... Honey, open your eyes..." His eyes swelled with tears as the woman stayed still, "Oh no... oh no..."
"Shion!! Wake up!!!!" He cried, hugging her lifeless body as the others tried to pry him away from the lifeless woman who stayed lying on the bed, remaining motionless.
At the sight of this, the baby who was sleeping on the nurse's arm before started crying due to the loud noise.
"Please don't leave me!!!"

"How many times do I have to tell you to not call me that!! You fucking brat!!" He screamed, throwing the half-filled alcohol ceramic bottle that he was holding toward the girl, hitting her right on her forehead.
