As You

I was yours, and you were mine,

Just like how our hands were effortlessly intertwined

I was your strength and you were my achilles heel,

And I thought hey, this is how it should feel.

When the night sky embraces the moon,

All it reveals is the unblemished beauty and the afterglows.

The red- string that's attached from me to you,

Gave justice how we're flawlessly designed as one and true.

Your smile can light up the sky,

As well as my heart and mind.

And everything's in place inside your arms,

As your lips touches the forehead of mine.
