Part 20 farewell

(Next morning) (with yu)

He slowly opened his eyes as he sat up on his bed, last night scene flashed in Front of his eyes, making his heart beat faster.

He looked next to him and ofcourse sam was gone. It was expected.

"why was I even hoping to see him by my side." yu sigh dissapointedly as he got up to shower, he walked in the bathroom and stood in front of the mirror.

He should feel disgust, he should feel resentment, he should hate sam.....
But instead he is feeling something else...

Even if his whole body is hurting, his heart is strangely calm, he is feeling at ease. He looked at his reflection in the mirror, as he touches his neck, which is covered with hickeys.

Last night scene are still vivid in his mind as he smiled lightly. He turn on the shower as he feels the warm water on his sore skin.

There's only one question roaming in his mind...

"last night.... Will it change anything..?"

(time skip)

After having a light breakfast, he sat on the bed, there's not much to do in this small room, so again his thoughts started to fill his head. He wants to see sam and ask him about everything that happened between them. Then suddenly..

(knock knock)

His heart beat got faster as he looked at the door hoping to see someone he wish, but he met with disappointment when he see john opening the door.

"mr. John..?" yu stood up as john approched him.

"good morning sir.. Mr. Lin wants to see you in his office in half an hour." john informed him as sam orderd him to do.

Yu's heart beat got faster again as he started getting nervous, his heart wants to see the person he love but his head telling him to not to see that face again.

John looked at yu's eyes and he can see same emotions that his boss is also trying to hide. He just sigh sadly and walked out.

(time skip) (sam office)

Sam was sitting there on his chair, invested in his laptop, checking documents and all, he was just trying to get himself distracted from all this.

"sir.. what are you gonna do...? " john asked him worried as to why he asked yu in his office.

"i am gonna do what is best.." he replied without any expression.

"but sir.! He is... " john got cut off by the knock on the door.

"sir.. mr. Yang is here." a gaurd informed them as he opened the door for yu, closing it after. Yu walked in, he was nervous and at the same time he is also a bit relief.

Yu felt like someone stole his breath away as he looked at sam who was already staring him. Yu shiver from the stare.

"why are you standing there.!" sam said with stern voice. His aura became dark again.

Yu came in front as he sigh out nervously, and looked at sam's still and emotionless eyes.

Yu wanted to say something as he was about to open his mouth, but sam didn't gave him the chance.

"you are free to go...mr. yang yu tang." sam stated with a straight face.

Yu and john both widen there eyes at that statement. Yu felt like the world crashed on him as he got completely numb after hearing what just sam said.

He should be happy, he should feel joy that finally he can go and live his life, he is finally free from the devil, but instead a panicked feeling sat in his heart as he thought of leaving the man he love. As a single tear escape from his eye

"what y..you said last n..night was..." yu shutters as he looked at sam with hopeful eyes.

"i was drunk..What I said last night means....   NOTHING..! you means nothing to me.!" sam said as he looked straight into his eyes.

Yu was not convinced as he shake his head and wiped his tears.

"not true..i don't believe it. Sam please tell me.! I know you are not the person you are trying to show, and I.. " yu got quite as sam raised his hand to make yu stop talking.

Sam furrowed his eyebrows and sigh in frustration.

"john..." sam said as he looked at his body guard. Who just nodded and walked out of the office, giving them privacy.

Sam chuckled making yu confused, he walked around his table and stand in front of yu and grabbed his chin between his fingers.

"are you thinking only after sharing few intimate moments with me... you can now speak any nonsense you want." sam said as he stared into his soul.

"pack your things. John will drop u at your place." sam said as he walked towards his bar and pour himself a drink, gulping it down.

Yu just closed his eyes, his heart broke again, although he expected this already but it still hurts like hell. Its so painful, his heart hurting so bad that he can actually feel it physicaly.

"you can lie however you want but your eyes can't lie and I can only see love in those eyes." yu said as he looked up at sam.

"you know what, I am done with all this," yu gritted his teeth controlling his tears. As he run out from there.

What he don't know that Sam is also hurting as much as him. Sam's heart ache as he see the tears in yu eyes but he didn't said anything.

he had to do this. He had to let him go, he knows that it's gonna hurt yu but this is the only way.

This unwanted love story must end here...
