A Night to Remember

Damian's POV

I didn't wanted to leave her but, at the same time, I don't want to waste a single minute getting everything ready.

I want to make this, a night to remember.

This is my chance to prove her that we are made for each other.

I just know it.

But first ! Lets buy a new phone and call Danny or I will be dead before tonight !

I go back to my hotel room to get my phone, or rather...what's left of it.

The first thing I see as I walk through the door is a girl in the kitchen, making breakfast, dressed in a tshirt, barely long enough to cover her bottom.

D: " Hmm...Hello ? "

She gasps with surprise.

Tara: " Oh my god ! You scared me ! "

D: " Well...I'm the one who's afraid right now ! Who are you and why are you here ? " I ask.

Tara: " Oh yeah, sorry ! I'm Tara, Danny's friend ! " She extend her hand to me.

D: " A friend huh ? " I shake her hand.

Tara: " Let's say close friend then ! " She smiles.

D: " Danny's not here ? " I ask her.

Tara: " No, he needed to go to the grocery store real quick, we're out of eggs " She shows me an empty eggs carton.

D: " Okay, will you tell Danny I stopped by and I'll call him later ? I've got something going on tonight until tomorrow. Thanks ! "

I look for my phone.

Tara: " He put your phone in your room " She tells me.

D: " Oh thanks ! "

I go to my room to get my phone, shower and pack my bag for the weekend.

I walk out of the room with my bag in hand, ready to go.

Tara: " Going on a trip with Madeline ? "

I stop in my tracks.

D: " How do you.." I look at her, shocked.

Tara: " She's my bestfriend so I heard a lot about you, Damian ! "

D: " Huh ? OH !! You're THAT girl ! I'm sorry, I didn't recognize you. "

Tara: " How could you ! My face was glued to Danny's this night " She laugh

D: " True ! " I laugh too.

Tara: " So, you and Maddy, on a trip ?"

D: " Yeah... but I'm still looking for the perfect place ! I hope I'll make the right choice ! " I scratch the back of my head.

Tara: " If you want a little tip about her, she loves simple things... especially starry nights." She wink at me.

Starry nights huh ?

And then, an idea strikes me !

D: " Tara...You're a genius ! " I said goodbye to her and rush outside.

Tara:" Have fun ! " She chuckles.

I'm sure we will...

I get on my motorcycle and head for a phone store.
I park in front and go inside.
