Lola Delphine could practically feel the excitement coming from Katherine Pierce. The olive skinned girl had not looked anywhere else since laying her eyes on the gorgeous man before her.
"Emily, who is that man?" She asked their handmaiden, barely containing her grin. She unclasped her gloved hands and reached for her best friend's own ones. Lola rolled her eyes, but she held Katherine's hand with an equal amount of enthusiasm.
Emily's eyes flicked between the two vampires she was protecting as a soft smile spread across her face at their happiness. "Stefan Salvatore, Miss." She looked at Lola specifically. "And I have heard he has a dashing older brother." The three girls shared keen smirks, all of the girls thinking about the fun they would have.
"Well." Lola began, squeezing Katherine's hand tighter as her smile grew. "Do you think it possible that the Salvatore patriarch would be willing to house two orphan girls from Atlanta?" Emily nodded fervour.
Katherine continued to gaze at Stefan as the carriage trundled past the boy, who was attempting to fix the wheel of his carriage.

Soon enough, the girls received word from Guiseppe Salvatore himself. Who seemed delighted to take in the girls along with their staff into his home. Their vampire companions had earlier confirmed that they would be in town nearby, although Lola and Katherine had the best deal by far as they would be in the company of two handsome men.
"Did you see his eyes, Elle?" Katherine was trembling with exhilaration. "They were just magnificent." Her smile was so contagious that Lola fould only giggle with her as their gloved hands were held together.
"They definitely were, Kat." Lola agreed profusely. "One can only hope that Damon's eyes are just as gorgeous." She would be rather disappointed if they were not.
"Oh, I can imagine they are." Katherine replied optimistically. "I can also imagine that he will say the same about your own." Lola nodded abashedly whilst fanning herself in an attempt to hide her blush. She was almost the same shade as the red ribbons keeping her curls out of her face.
Katherine and Lola. Elle and Kat. They had only been friends for a short while. However, they were inseparable. They were the same and different both outside and inside. They both had small, heart-shaped faces and lengthy, brunette curly hair. Kat opted for clips to hold hers back while Elle used ribbons. They both had arched sculpted eyebrows and long dark eyelashes. Their plump pink lips tilted up in the same smile, mostly induced by the same thing and their noses scrunched up in the same way when they smiled. However, their eyes were eminently different. Lola's were a sage green in colour whilst Katherine's were a chocolate brown. Katherine's skin was olive in tone, but Lola had an ivory complexion.
"Look, Kat." She pointed exitedly out of the window, the huge house came into view, along with two tall boys standing in front of it. Her eyes connected with Damon's as the carriage came to a stop. It was obvious they were brothers. They had the same spark.
Katherine replied in the same manner of thrill. "They look even more handsome from this distance." The two girls giggled together, oblivious to Emily's admiring look. She was pleased that they were already happy here considering what they had been through. She could only imagine having to actually experience those events.
Karherine and Lola bustled out of the carriage with eagerness yet elegance as the april air tusseled their long curls artfully in the breeze. They stepped toward the boys and lifted their hands to meet theirs.
Damon kissed the top of Lola's whilst not breaking eye contact. The perculiar eye thing he did sent sparks throughout Lola's body. Katherine was too enthralled with Stefan to tease her about her attraction. They were so enraptured by each other to notice Damon and Lola for the time being.
