As dawn breaks over the ravaged werewolf kingdom, the aftermath of the battle becomes painfully clear. The once bustling streets now lie silent and desolate, haunted by the echoes of the conflict that tore through them. The casualties are numerous, their lifeless forms serving as grim reminders of the cost of war.

Inside the palace, Queen Monia's anguish is palpable as she paces the halls, her heart heavy with worry for both her mate and her daughter. Through the mate bond, she feels the pain of her injured mate like a dagger to her soul, driving her to the brink of despair. Yet, amidst her grief, she knows that she must stay strong for the sake of her kingdom.

Meanwhile, the king's sons and Rosaline's brothers, Marven and Maddox, gather to discuss their next course of action.

Marven's brow furrows with concern as he addresses his brother. "We need to find Rosaline, Maddox. She could be in grave danger."

Maddox nods, his jaw set with determination. "Agreed. But with the kingdom in chaos, it won't be easy."Their mother, Queen Monia, joins them, her eyes red-rimmed from tears. "We must remain vigilant. Rosaline is strong, but she's also in great danger."

Marven places a reassuring hand on his mother's shoulder. "We won't rest until she's found, Mother. I promise."

Just then, a guard rushes in, his expression urgent. "Your Majesties, we've found him. The king... he's badly injured."The queen's breath catches in her throat, her worst fears realized. "Take us to him," she commands, her voice trembling with emotion.

Together, they follow the guard to where their father lies, his massive wolf form battered and bloodied. The sight fills them with a sense of dread, but also with a renewed determination to bring their family back together. With heavy hearts, they turn to the pack healer, their voices filled with urgency. "Please, do everything you can to save him," Marven implores, his voice choked with emotion.

As the healer tends to their father's wounds, Marven and Maddox exchange a solemn glance, their resolve stronger than ever. They may be facing their darkest hour, but they refuse to give up hope. For as long as there's breath in their bodies, they will fight to bring their family back together and restore peace to their kingdom.
