Severine was the most challenging choice, as many beautiful and talented black actresses could be the face. At one point, I thought of having Deborah Ayorinde as Severine's face claim and Clare-Hope Ashitey as her sister, but I chose Clare-Hope and Karidja Touré as Cara instead, voilà.
