Reynico one-shot

Maybe she changed her mind? It was 8:00 P.M.and Reyna was late for our first date by half an hour, my mind raced with reasons:
"Maybe she got lost or couldn't find the restaurant."
"Maybe a monster had come out at her."
As I was lost in my thoughts she walked through the door...
"Yo-you-your-" I stammered.
"Beautiful?" Supplied the waiter, whispering into my ear.
"Beautiful!" I exclaimed as I shot the waiter a grateful look.
"Why thanks Nico, you don't look too bad yourself"
The waiter gave us both a menu.
"Could I please have the mushroom steak?" Reyna asked the waiter.
"Sure, and you sir?" The waiter asked.
"I'll take a double-cheese burger with fries" I replied.
"Great choice!" Exclaimed the waiter.
"So..." I struggled through awe. The waiter came with our food. We sat awkwardly eating our food.
"What have you been up to?" She asked.
"Well Leo's working on a new zombie scepter" I said stupidly. As soon as I said that I regretted it, Reyna's face turned white, she didn't have a good past with the undead, they had been her only fear.
"Otherwise monster attacks have largely decreased" I quickly said, trying to change the subject, Reyna's face returned to the usual flush of peach.
"They have haven't they?" She asked.
"I think that might be because we closed the gates of death, so monsters are taking longer to regenerate." I explained.
"Yeah... Good point" Reyna said thoughtfully.
"Do you think that-" I managed before the wall of the restaurant blew up, while everyone ran around in panic, none other than the Leo Valdez stood before us... With a 19 feet tall monster behind him of course.
"A little help here?" He called out as he sent an inferno of blazes at the monster.
"What is that?!" Reyna exclaimed.
"Some giant tornado making monster or something" Replied Leo.
"Typhoon..." I muttered. He had returned...
