The Campbell family has always been one of the most powerful witch families ever and with that became great friends with the Mikaelson family in the 1100s. The day the Campbell witches met the Mikaelson it was a turning point in their lives, they were safe from any supernatural creature as long as the Campbell family and Mikaelson family lived.

The bond between the two families was odd because no one knew why they were connected but over the years the family has created stories about this affair, most believe it had to do with soulmates. Oh, yes, soulmates the person you'll be destined to be with forever, now most people who believe this hope it would be them and the others not so much.

That goes for Evette Campbell, she was a cherry bombshell, never believe that someone could be mated to the Mikaelson for the fact of how old they were and if they haven't found them now are they even real. But Evette tried to understand the stories she was told when she was younger about Niklaus, Elijah, Kol, and Rebekah but nothing spark for anyone, tho people did say there was another Mikaelson brother but he was a nobody so no one talked about him.

So 19 years old, Evette Campbell gets dragged to the Mikaelson Ball by her mother because her mother with every fiber in her body believes Evette was the one, oh and how right she was.

Now in Mystic Fall where one of the biggest supernatural hotspots is at, Evette finds her other half which so happens to be the eldest brother that no one talked about and where a burning soul is met with his true love.
