What if Maleficent had a child but her "sister" took her away from Maleficent? What if the curse placed on the child was to help bring them back home, where they belonged? What if Briar Rose was a witch and was hidden to keep her away from magic?
Briar Rose is the name she was given by birth but people know her as Aurora, the princess of hearts. Ever since she was a kid she always wondered why, why did he "parents" leave her to live with her aunts in the middle of the woods, at last when she turned 18th she found out why. But what if they lied to her about everything and what the curse would really do if she pricked her finger.
Victoria Rose, aka Maleficent, was her mother. She was a powerful witch that had the power of any at her hand, she was also from a different realm or.... a different world but she came here to protect her daughter when her husband died from a war. Here she met Queen Leah and they became friends right away but not everyone like it the fairies of the realm started to call her Maleficent but that never stopped them, Victoria trusted Leah enough to be there for the birth of her child, only things didn't unfold how people would think. Leah took advantage of Victoria being pregnant to get her daughter seeing as she can have kids of her own.
Now Maleficent did the one thing she knew she could do to get her and her daughter out of this realm was to place a curse on that would cause her to prick her finger on a spring wheel to make her go to "sleep". Only if that was the case.
Now Briar Rose has to adjust to a different world where she finds out about her soulmates but for now she is trapped in a frozen world with one of her mates.
