Chapter 5

(Sorry for not posting, didn't have any motivation...)

Nagi looked at the user who called him and noticed that it wasn't Reo but, shockingly, Chigiri. Nagi didn't want to pick up but decided that he should since it might be important. "Hello?" Chigiri's voice could be heard from the other end of the line. "What is it?" Nagi mumbled drowsily into the phone as he buried his head into his pillow.

"Oh, hey! I am just calling to ask you something." Chigiri explained as Nagi kept silent, waiting for Chigiri's question. "Well, I have noticed that you were blushing when Reo kissed you so... Nagi, do you maybe like Reo?" Chigiri asked as Nagi's eyes widened. "What?" Nagi asked, completely dumbfounded by Chigri's question.

"Do you have romantic feelings for Reo?" Chigiri asked again, this time more straightforward. Nagi kept silent, but in his head, he was freaking out. 'I- I don't like Reo right? He's my best friend. I can't like him! I like him. I don't like him. I don't know!' Nagi thought as he groaned with frustration and sighed. "I don't know." Nagi finally replied, his voice is barely audible. Chigiri chuckled softly as he spoke into his phone once again.

"Trust me, it's really obvious. I am pretty sure he likes you back." Nagi's heart fluttered as he heard Chigiri say Reo likes him back. "Really?" Nagi asked with a slight hint of excitement in his voice. Chigiri never heard Nagi's voice like that before and was surprised. "You are really that happy? Yes, I asked him earlier, and he said he likes you a lot." Chigiri said as Nagi's heart raced.

"What do I do? Do I confess? What if he was joking? Reo like me back? Does he-" Nagi was cut off by Chigiri shushing him. "Shh! You ask too many questions. You should confess to him. That is what I would do." Chigiri suggested as Nagi's drowsy look was replaced with a gentle smile. "Thank you, Chigiri." Nagi said as he ended the call and lay on his bed thinking about how he would confess.

Nagi has never felt so happy, this is his first time falling in love. He will not make this go to waste. Nagi decided that he should take a shower to calm himself down. He undressed and stepped into the shower. The cold water hit his body as he let out a happy sigh. "I must be the luckiest person in the world..." Nagi muttered as he began to put shampoo on his hair.

(After the shower, he just played games while he waited for his hair to dry and slept after that.)

(The next day.)

Nagi and Reo arrived at school. Nagi glanced at Reo, wanting to confess right there but was cut off by Reo running off towards another person. "Rin!" Reo called out as Rin took one glance at Reo and ignored him, but Reo didn't seem to mind that. Nagi felt his heart sink as he saw Reo ditching him for Rin. 'This has never happened before...' Nagi thought, heartbroken and jealous. His heart ached but there was nothing he could do. That, caused him to take back the thought of confessing to Reo...
