A wounded night of bleeding stars
A deep red hue shines over us all.
A red of love and heart.
A red of blood and pain.5 No person ever feels the same
Under the light of the bleeding stars.I fell for you under those shining lights.
But was it simplay because they were brightest
that night?10 For even the loveliest blood that rains from the sky
Is still blood.
No matter it's enchanting crimson tint. When I fell for you that fateful, wounded night
my heart bled for you almost as much as the sky.15 However, that blood I lost was not lovely.
The beautiful lights that shined on you
decieved me.
I was blinded by the grace of the wounded night.
You shattered my perception of love.
20 I viewed you under the glowing stars.By morning, when the lights faded,
the you I knew
the you I loved
had faded with them.25 Your beautiful hues
Shifted to suffocating tones. But every dusk, the sun descends again.
The wounded night returns.
You appear just as captivating
30 As you did that fateful, wounded night. The doeful vermillion stars shine upon you again.
The melancholly of the wounded night
Is just as bewitching and devine.
Your love is my contribution to the night.
35 And my anguish in the dreaded morning.{Author's Note: The title was inspired by some diolouge from the band TV girl.}

Misty Heart
PoetryI wrote these poems about someone I love. I'm no longer with him, but they are about how I felt while I was with him. I still hold him close to my heart, no matter how badly he treated me. I loved him and I doubt that one day I wont.
