Camille walked dynamically to the front door, looking in every direction and clenching her fists tightly, preparing herself to be ready for anything. As she approached the door, she saw a large shadow on the floor. That's when she knew someone had broken into their house. She hid behind the wall and tried to control her fear, which came surprisingly quickly, as if she was practiced at it.

She heard more than one voice, so it wasn't just one person. Unfortunately, the burglars didn't speak loud enough for her to understand all their words.

In the meantime, Vivienne, concerned about the noises and the fact that her friend did not return for a long time, moved towards the front door. She didn't anticipate that someone else might be in their house, which is why she didn't even try to be quiet as she paced and called her friend's name. Three men appeared before her, all dressed in gray clothes with strange white badges on their chests.

"That's her!" Said one of them, pointing his finger at Vivienne.

The girl stood paralyzed with fear. Camille, who was just behind the wall, just facepalmed herself when she heard that her friend ignored her request and was noticed. Quickly thinking of a plan, she ran out from behind the wall and grabbed the vase, while hiding behind the table. She threw it across the house, hoping to distract attention from Vivi.

"What was that?" Said a deep voice. "Check it!"

Two burglars took out weapons from their belts and ran through the corridor following the sound.

The tallest of them covered Vivienne's mouth with one hand, and with the other he wrapped his arms tightly around her waist and pulled her towards him. Taking advantage of the situation, Camille grabbed what was closest to her, an umbrella. She hit the man in the head hard enough to knock him down, then she grabbed her friend's hand, dragged her down the hall, and together they ran out of the house, using the back door.

After a while, which lasted forever for the girls, they reached the main street of the city, where they hid in a dark and narrow alley, behind one of the buildings.

The city is small and built in quite an old style, which gives it its own atmosphere. From time to time, you can see newer buildings, but there are not many of them in this district.

"Why did you follow me? I told you not to move." Camille said out of breath.

"Well, because you haven't been back for a long time." Vivienne started, trying to catch her breath. "It's a good thing I went there, otherwise you might have been dead by now. Who were these people?"

"I don't know... you saw them. What did they look like?"

"There were three of them. They were all dressed in gray and had some badges or something. I don't know what it was."

"Strange..." She replied with concentration. "Why did they come to us...? What did they want...?"

"And why were they looking for me?" Vivienne began. "One of them pointed his finger at me and said 'it's her'." She demonstrated, imitating the man. "They must have confused me with someone, but who?"

"That still doesn't explain how they know our address..." She replied, still wondering about the situation.

"I think they went in that direction." A man's voice rang out, echoing off the walls of the buildings.

Vivienne walked to the end of the building to check this out. There she saw the familiar gray outfits, but this time there were many more of them.

"Cam?"

"Hmm?"

"I think we have a problem." She replied, referring to what she saw behind the building.

Camille leaned out to see what exactly her friend was talking about. When she saw this, she took a deep breath and quickly started thinking about what to do next.

The girls were in a dead end, so the only way to escape was the main street where the men were.

"Okay, we have to run." Camille said.

"Where?" Vivienne asked.

"I don't know, but it's only a matter of time before they catch us here. Tell me, if they're not looking. I'll run to that building across the street, then I'll give you a sign to do the same, okay?"

She nodded her head.

Camille ran into the streets and quickly ran behind another building. She looked at the men, turned the other way and waved to her friend. Vivi ran around the corner, but when she was halfway down the street she was noticed.

The girls ran ahead. They were in quite good shape, so they didn't let themselves catch up. They managed to run to a safe distance and stopped behind a gas station.

While they were gasping for air, someone came up behind them. In a split second, they found themselves against the wall, forced to kneel on their knees under the pressure of the force.
A very tall man appeared before them. It was probably not anyone from the previous group, because he looked completely different. He had very dark hair, almost black. The wind blew it into his face. He also had a slight stubble, which wasn't noticeable at first glance, but it matched his sharp facial features. His eyes were blue, almost turquoise. He was dressed all in black, wearing a shirt and a long, floor-length coat over it. On his feet he wore long leather boots. He had a gun in his hand.

"Umm... What's happening ? I don't think we know each other." Started Vivienne, her voice shaking. There was an uncertain smile on her face. "Sir, I don't know why you brought us here, but you had to confuse us with someone else."

The man didn't say anything, still staring at the girls, looking as if he was thinking about what to do with them.

"Be quiet." Camille admonished her.

"It happens..." The man started with a deep voice. "That I know who you are. Also, I know that you must pay for what you did."

"If you know, who do you think we are?" Vivienne replied, not believing the man's words.

Camille just took a shaky breath, not saying a word.

"Vivienne Moreau and Camille Asselin. Correct?"

"What?" Vivienne grimaced and looked at Camille.

"My name is correct, but that's not Vivi's surname... I think you've confused us with someone else." Camille replied.

"Impossible. I know what you look like and who you are. So what's your name then?" He looked at Vivienne.

"Chateau."

"Hmm... Interesting." The man grabbed his chin. "Well, I don't know why you don't know your name, but I know who you both are. You want to deceive me. Any last words?" He replied, pointing the gun at the girls.
