It was already starting to get dark outside, it was about 9 p.m. Vivienne was still sitting at the table. She looked deep in thought and at the same time devastated. Eventually her friend joined her.
"What are you thinking about?" Camille asked curiously.
"I don't really know... partly about everything, partly about nothing." She replied uncertainly. "This whole situation is overwhelming me. Just yesterday everything was fine." She sighed.
"Well, I'm not surprised. These things don't tend to happen to normal people." Camille replied with a laugh to cheer up her friend a little.
"Also, this dark guy has to live with us." Vivienne added, already in a joking way, rolling her eyes."
"He's not that bad." Camille replied, laughing again. She seemed to drift off thinking about Theo.
"Do you think we'll get our memory back?" Her friend suddenly asked, startling her from her thoughts.
"Honestly, I don't know... I don't even know what we actually would get back. Until now it seemed like there were no memories missing. But let's hope so. In general, it's strange... everything seems normal... as if the memories we have were real. I wonder who did this to us?"
"I hope that black fossa will find this out." Vivienne replied.
"Who...?" Camille asked with a confused look on her face.
"You know, Theo."
"Why black fossa though?" She laughed.
"Lafosse is his surname, isn't it? Sounds a bit like a fossa..." Vivienne began. "And black, because he dresses all in black and acts suspiciously."
"Black fossa..." Camille repeated.
"Come on, it suits him." Her friend replied.
"Well, maybe you're right. Only you could come up with such a nickname." She started laughing.
"Actually, we can use that nickname to talk shit about him." Vivienne suggested.
"Alright. I wonder if he will like this nickname." Camille continued laughing.
Suddenly, the girls heard the sound of approaching footsteps, and then a tall figure appeared in front of them. The 'black fossa' was in the kitchen.
The girls thought he was going to join them and say something, but he just walked across the room and towards the stairs.
"Where are you going?" Camille asked.
"To the shop." He replied briefly, but after a while he decided that it would be better to tell them more. "I'm going to get something to eat. Your fridge is empty, and I'm not going to go on a zero-calorie diet while living with you."
The girls accepted his 'excuse' and didn't ask any more questions.
The man headed to the door and then left. It was already quite dark outside, and when the wind blew you could feel a slight chill.
When he was about to leave this area and go to the city center, he noticed a figure hidden behind a lamppost. Theo stopped for a moment behind one of the trees, out of sight, and watched the man from afar. It wasn't one of the gray outfits group, as he was dressed in a plain black suit, and they weren't usually seen wearing anything else, but he seemed disturbingly suspicious.
He felt like he knew this man from somewhere, but he couldn't remember where. The only thing he could notice was his hair color, which was dark, warm blonde.
The man looked like he was waiting for someone while hiding. After a few minutes, he picked up his phone and put it to his ear. Apparently someone called him, but the conversation wasn't long because he said one word and put the phone in his pants pocket. Shortly after, he left the place and walked towards the center.
