Non-fuyumi focused chapter for now. Up there is what Satoshi looks like.

-----

Satoshi woke up with a happy grin on his face. Yesterday, Hayato had promised him that he would take him to the mall after school to buy a new action figure of one of his favorite superheroes.

It's a brand new one that was released just a few days ago, so he was super excited at the news.

Being dropped off at school, his excitement couldn't be contained as his teacher had noticed this and asked him what had him so jiterry during recess.

"My big brother is gonna buy me a new figure of my favorite hero today!" Satoshi exclaimed with his hands high in the air, his joy being contagious as his teacher smiled in response.

"Oh my, good for you, Satoshi-kun. Your brother must be a really nice person to buy you such a gift." She has seen him before but only from a distance when he comes to pick Satoshi up from school. Hearing her student gush about him made her wonder more about Hayato. She really wants to meet him someday.

Hayato was currently enjoying his free day at home in his room playing that super popular vr game Shangri-La Frontier.

It's a super immersive mmo game where you roam an incredibly detailed game either by yourself or with a party and fight insane enemies and explore unique and exciting areas.

He's spent hours upon hours on this game on every single day off he's had for the past month. His character is that off a master swordsman who specializes in ending battles in a single powerful strike.

Many players online know him simply as Akira The Ronin. A lone Samurai who roams the land, striking down enemies in a single blow thanks to his mastery of the game and usage of unique skills.

Back in school, Satoshi is playing tag with his friend. A young girl by the name of Tsu-chan as Satoshi calls her.

"You're it, Tsu-chan!" Satoshi cheered as he tagged her in the head and began to run away. As for penalty, the person tagged must wait five seconds before they can give chase, and he has the perfect strategy to win within these five seconds.

As she stood still, Satoshi ran behind her through her blind side and made a beeline for a tree, and began to climb it. His strategy was to hide high above away from her sight.

"Hee hee!" He giggled. This was the perfect plan. He peeked over a branch to see her looking around. The one thing that annoyed him is that he can never tell what she's thinking due to that straight face she always keeps. He can not tell if he has finally beaten her at tag. Only time will tell for now. As such, there is a minute left before recess ends, so it might just be time for his first victory against her.

"Kero. Tag, you're it."

You ever get that feeling that sometimes things are just hopeless, and no matter what you try, you can never overcome it?

Tag is bullshit.

Satoshi felt a tap on his cheek. He turned to the side to see Tsu-chan squatting right next to him, her tongue extended out to his cheek.

"Kero." She croaked. Once again, he couldn't tell what the hell she was thinking. For all he knew, she was thinking that this was too damn easy for her. Little did he know that she was feeling super happy for finding him and a little embarrassed because she technically just gave him a peck on the cheek.

Dejected and sad, Satoshi mourned his one hundredth loss at tag against Tsu-chan. Maybe he'll never beat her.

The bell rung indicating recess was over, and it was time to hurry back on to class. Tsu-chan hopped back down and went to class. She looked back to see Satoshi wasn't following her. Instead, he was moping and wallowing in his own defeat. "Kero. He's like this again." It somehow became a routine that she would use her tongue to carry him back to class whenever he gets like this. "Oh well, Kero."
