"Word can lie, Vegas-" Pete

"But eyes can't," Vegas, his rough hand gently holding Pete's face, pulling him closer, "Look into my eyes."

Pete looks, the tears that threaten to fall have fallen at the sight of the pairs of black orbs that gleam with a vast sincerity which he can't spot a single lie. The eyes that didn't even blink while killing people were proclaiming the clear honesty and conscience of a weak man.

"Believe me, angel, hurting you is out of option"

"What m-makes you so sure?" Pete's voice cracks in between.

"I don't hurt the person I love," Vegas

"Give me a little more time, I will tell you everything, every one of them. So please," Vegas, "Please don't give me up just yet."

Vegas rests his head on Pete's shoulder, as he voices the promise.

Funny, the cold-blood tyrant that oblivious to any pleas using the phrase 'please' as if he was begging his angel to not leave him in the darkness.

The angel that forges a million lights to alight his thorny path and to provide a vision for the road up ahead.

The angel that melts his icy heart and cracks his stony wall.

The angel that holds the most beautiful smile and lights up his entire being.

The angel that is like a universe to him.

"I'm waiting, Vegas. So please, don't make me wait too long," Pete, "Any longer and I might go insane."

"I promise and I won't break it," Vegas pecks Pete on the lips.

"Are we good?" Vegas asks in a joking tone.

Pete huff as he looks away wiping his tears, "Said who?"

Vegas chuckled at the endearing behavior as he circled Pete's waist, his angel sure knew how excited him.

"Can Anna stay here?" Vegas

"Now you are asking permission," Pete said with sarcasm, "Didn't you already decide?"

"At least until the baby is born," Vegas

Pete noticed the ways Vegas' tones hid the hint of pain but he wanted to dig deeper.

"Is the baby yours?" Pete

"I told you Pete," Vegas

"I want to know why she needs to stay here," Pete, "You don't mind telling me just that do you?"

"If they stay out there they will be in danger," Vegas, "I couldn't care less about her but the baby is innocent."

"He shouldn't be involved in the elder grudge." Vegas

"Alright" Pete

They're in a cinema room, which was designed to make one feel realistic as if they are in the real cinema venue.

Pete walks toward the sofa, takes a seat, grabs the remote, and clicks it open. Vegas sits beside him, staring at the calming beauty.

"Shall I grab us ice cream?" Vegas suggests with a soft smile.

"Cliché coming from you," Pete teases.
