Everyone in the Mikaelson household were up and awake, except the twins who were still dead to the world. Today was a special day.

Eighteen summers ago today, Elin and Elijah were born and the family were getting everything sorted for them. Mikael was both excited and sad about today. Although he was happy they were growing up, he couldn't help but feel sad at how fast they have grown up.

Rebekah had taken it upon herself to organise the whole thing, anyone who disagreed would be instantly shut down.

Even her own family, who just kept quiet as to not be on the receiving end of her wrath. Finn and Mikael were in charge of setting up the table and chairs outside and the food and Klaus was in charge of decorating with the help of Henrik.

"No, no. They aren't straight, they need to be straight, Niklaus" Rebekah scolded her older brother, who let out a sigh for the umpteenth time in the past ten minutes.

The blonde is only eleven summers old, yet she is the most bossy person in the whole village.

"Yes, alright, sister" He replied, straightening the flower chain and let out a relieved sigh when Rebekah gave him the all clear.

"Don't you think we've over done it?" Kol asked, immediately regretting what he said when he got a mean glare thrown hi way by Rebekah.

"Of course not, Kol. Today needs to be perfect for El and 'Lijah" The eleven year old huffed, before walking away to order someone else around.

"Why is she so bossy?" Henrik whined, passing Klaus more flowers.

"You know how she can get, Henrik. Plus, the twins deserve the best" Mikael stated with a chuckle.

"Oh, we all agree to that. But no one likes being told what to do by an eleven year old, father" Finn said laughing, setting down a large plate of cooked meat and vegetables.

"Alright, everything looks perfect. Now to wake up the twins" Rebekah exclaimed excitedly, clapping her hands before she bolted back to their home, with Henrik following after her.

The two youngest Mikaelson's made their way inside, the duo quietly giggling to themselves as they snuck over to the sleeping twins.

Rebekah snuck over to wake Elijah, while Henrik jumped on Elin to wake her up. And wake her up he did. The now eighteen year old woke up with a start, her brown eyes wide as she looked over to see her baby brother laughing while sitting on her stomach.

"Why in Odin's name did you wake me up in such a manner?" Elin laughed, a hand over her racing heart. Henrik calmed down, his big brown eyes looking down at his sister and he tilted his head adorably.

"I had to wake you up somehow, sissy" He giggled, before squealing when he was pulled into a hug by Elin. The girl stood to her feet, Henrik still in her arms and she walked out to see a giggling Rebekah who was in Elijah's arms.

"Did he wake you by jumping on you too, sister?" Her twin asked with a grin.

"Sure did" She answered, tickling her baby brothers sides making him squeal happily once again.

"Now, where are the others?" Elin asked, carefully placing Henrik onto his feet but the boy clutching onto her hand.

"Out in the fields" Rebekah answered, now on her feet and was pulling Elijah out the door with the other two following close behind them.

They walked for a few minutes, Rebekah and Henrik looking giddy while the twins were slightly confused.

When they got to the field, the younger Mikaelson's bolted over to the others and the twins eyes widened when they saw a table set with food, decorations around the place and their family standing at the table with big smiles on their faces.
